I like how Andy's left eye has the Weyland Yutani logo printed (tattooed?) on it.
could Rain be the daughter Ripley left behind?
12 year all crew fighting UBERMIGHTY ALIENS is very " believable "
What’s going on with Eric’s hair
Can’t be worse than other abominations from recent franchise sequels (Halloween Ends).
Very good analysis video. The attention to detail in this film is amazing.
Too dark. Can't see a damn thing.
Why is the name of a Star Trek planet in the title? (Yes, I know that it was a mythological name before it was a Star Trek planet but I read “ROMULUS” and immediately think Star Trek)
This franchise has some of the best trailers
I haven’t had such high hopes for a movie in a minute. Beautiful trailer Fede
I hope they adress the question as to how the queen fits into the alien's life-cycle..
i havent been so excited for a film since infiinty war/end game.
I'm so hyped for this movie, I really hope it lives up to expectations or at least close.
The squelch is eggs hatching
That’s Bjorn and Tyler in the room with the face huggers. I believe that’s Bjorn that the face hugger latches on to because you can see his bandana on his head.
After this amazing video, I'm definitely hyped now!
No one is gonna talk about the goo? The android has it in the container
I think the voice at the end was Mother.
Looking at the trailer those hallways remind me of Alien isolation
6:35 I'm not sure I feel it is deceptive. I felt that remake was fantastic, and the body horror was a good fit for what this this could be. I got excited by it either way.
I can't wait
I read that the part where the android is motionless has to do with him rebooting for some reason. But as soon as he comes back he starts helping people and actually pulls a facehugger off someone – which was in the trailer where you see the facehugger embryo implantation appendage coming out of someone's mouth. The whole setup is that WY was of course experimenting on xenos there on the station, but where they got them is unknown. Some say they came from the big chap. That big block of debris looking stuff coming in could have been him in some sort of cocoon he made. We never actually saw him die in the original. And he survived in space at least for a brief time until Ripley blasted him away with the shuttle engines. He could have lived long enough to cocoon himself and go into some kind of hibernation.
My theory is that one of these characters, or possibly one of the facehuggers is carrying an alien queen embyro. Romulus will crashland on LV426 (shown in the trailer), thus starting the breakout of Xenomorphs that eventually eradicate the colonists on LV426. This would explain where the queen from Aliens came from.
I am definitely in the minority, but I hope this film connects to Covenant. Even if it's only minor details and nods. I'm still disappointed that we never got Awakening. I'm eager for a finish to the prequels. If it is not part of the film universe, a novel or comic would be adequate.
How do they make a movie set between Alien and Aliens but not make the main character Amanda Ripley?
