  1. I personally found the tram rides to be more comforting. Like, I know they were there to mask the loading screen, but everytime I entered them, I felt comfort in knowing that I was free of the alien's clutches, if only for a while.

  2. Honestly I WISH the game was fun to play. Everything looks and sounds good, the atmosphere is great…but the gameplay itself is super slow for no reason. "The tension" ….yeah or you stretched a 2 hour game into 20 entirely through forcing the player to creep along. Is the AI that good at tracking you? No. But if you try to just run guess what…hey cheater alien ai instakills you

  3. It's a fucking miracle that I was able to complete this game considering how much of a coward I was (and am) when it comes to horror games. While System Shock 2 has become my favorite horror game, Alien Isolation will probably never be surpassed for me in terms of pure fucking horror. I want to replay it but I'm too scared, for now.

  4. This game was surely way ahead of its time. The AI was absolutely fantastic which really made you feel tense all the time and the sound design is one of the best I have ever experienced. Add to this the visuals the game offers and you will know how much of a must play experience this game offers. Sad that since then we have had barely any good games.
