  2. Happy Friday Frank. Definitely grabbing the Alice after seeing your review. Couldn't find Ace here in Mississauga and Amazon didn't honor my vinyl preorder. Loving it on spotify-even with its flaws.I did get the Bob Deal album. While it's more Micks:AM than 8 Mars blues, I do enjoy its tone and sound, a very easy Friday listen. Check out the last track LA Noir the instrumental-excellent. One cool note about the vinyl, mine was not advertised as limited but arrived Clear. Mick was famously asked his "favorite color" for a Metal Edge mag article back in the early days and answered "clear"-a great nod to the past! 🤘

  3. I love it when they plough so much detail into the deluxe editions. New pictures and extra info is great for the fan but the one thing I have noticed is that some of the reproduced pictures are now digital and they are sometimes not so sharp and clear as the originals. That aside I think they are great ! Have a great weekend Frank

  4. I still have my original copy of Babies, purchased in 1973 when I was a high school sophomore. My, how time flys. The only issue mine has is that the perforated trading card sheet has separated from the surrounding cardboard from years of handling.

  5. The bits that I've heard from the new Ace album I've liked. Need to hear it all. I have that Alice CD version of billion dollar babies plus an original pressing. Think I'm going to stay pat with those, even though this new release looks good. Saving some of my money for rsd this year. There's a Yardbirds release that I'm interested in.

  6. I still have my original 1973 US version and 1973 Japan version, that came with a full size poster of Alice and the OBI. It blows the US version out of the water. But Japanese vinyl always has been far superior compared to the US.
I'll more than likely pass on this since I already have the live version.

  7. Aloha Frank,
Thank you for your review on this Rhino release of Billion Dollar Babies 3 record Set . I was on the fence on this release, it is my favorite record album by Alice Cooper, but I was debating because of the price here in Honolulu Hawaii.
Thanks to your review, I'll be looking to purchase this BILLION DOLLAR BABIES Rhino release.
Always looking forward to watching your videos.

  8. the Ace Frehley album was produced by Steve from band trixter, and longtime fan of kiss and Ace. He talked about in an interview "keeping Ace focused and promised him it would be the best solo album he made since 78" and delivered 100%…
key standouts "in the skies" and "blinded"…great CLASSIC ACE!!! : )
