  1. Emily, do you know who that man is who sits back behind AM? He's a older man with Grey hair. He's been there since the beginning . I loved Blanca!! I had tears also listening to her. I wanted to give her a hug.

  2. Q- are they allowed to just yell “Objection” with no grounds? Sometimes the judge rules when I don’t hear grounds. It’s annoying. All I can hear is DB voice “grouuuumdzz” speaking over the top of them saying their grounds haha

  3. I would have been apprehensive/frightened to enter the property so shortly after a shotgun/rifle murder with no suspect in custody, especially since revenge was assumed to be the motive. I would not have asked anyone to go there unaccompanied, indeed, at all, out of concern for their safety.

  4. I just cannot get passed SLED’s actions that night. Letting people freely come and go in the home after the murders!?! My nephew just died a week ago and his mother came in and found his body. As soon as they declared him deceased, his mother was told to go outside (in the rain-they told her to sit in her car if she had to) and no one was allowed back into the home until they had completed their investigation and removed the body. They clearly explained to her that in that case the entire home was a crime scene that they had to clear prior to us reentering the home. His case didn’t even resemble a homicide. It “looked like” suicide to her upon her finding him but was ruled an accident shortly into the investigation.

  5. I also think that Good Boy Bubba has done his very best for Maggie and Paul…had he not been running around with his trophy chicken while Paul was making a video of his friend‘s dog‘s tail we wouldn’t have heard Alex‘s voice as he called after the dog and tried to get it away. Paul was occupied with Cash (the chocolate lab), Maggie was likely the one hosing down the kennels as Alex was the one excitedly pursuing Bubba. At the beginning of the Snapchat video Alex is heard greeting Paul who answers back quietly something like Hey ya dad, he is trying to be calm around young Cash to get get coverage of his tail somits almost a whisper. On Day Two the first responding officer, Greene, testified while reviewing his bodycam video that a dead chicken was left on top of a small dog crate. Someone had to recover the chicken, place it on a crate and put Bubba in a kennel, no dog no matter how good they are would be able to do that on their own. Also happy Bubba is now with Blanca and her family.

  6. I think it is starting to be shown that he was under a lot of pressure at the time of the murders, things starting to unravel. I wonder if Paul made a really bad joke or said something to piss Alex off that night and he snapped

  7. Alex Murdaugh's undoing were all the women he underestimated that he never thought would challenge his authority. He underestimated everyone he thought was "below him," to his detriment.

  8. If he in deed did bribe the chief of police, this might mean two things:
    A) there’s the issue of corruption added to all the financial stuff and the boat case which means even more pressure on AM
    B) the possible reason why SLED didn’t do a thorough enough job(no search warrant for the house, no thorough search of the car, etc)
Doesn’t look good at all for AM and every member of this old boys club

  9. Just watching Dick's cross examination of Blanca and seriously, the passive aggression and condescension from these men is palpable. I could never be trusted in the same room as any of them because I would surely pass through the room slapping each and every one of them. Good on Judge Newman for (at least) trying to keep these old dudes in check. And when I call them 'old' I'm not being condescending because, with the exception of Dick, I'm older than all of 'em. But they just all act so old.

  11. Wow, what a witness Blanca is. I've only been able to catch parts due to tax season, but I did catch the CFO because of the shorts, I knew that was a testimony I needed to see. After her and now Blanca, I'm completely convinced he did it.

  12. Dick having a hissy fit is quintessential South Carolina courtroom decorum where all the attorney mill around the front of the courtroom, chatting and drinking coffee until someone gets pissed off. You could walk in to any court room here and see the same shenanigans that’s going on here. The judge is trying to maintain his composure and get through this trial without throwing the whole thing in the trash… like Duck threw those papers down. Lol

Alex looks like he had either an epiphany, a stern talking to by either Jim or Dick or the trial has been going on too long to keep up the weak, mild and meek facade he’s been using to gain sympathy points. Now he just looks egotistical, bored, haughty and is glaring down whoever he thinks he can intimidate. Eff him. He LURED HIS CHILD AND WIFE TO TGEIR DEATHS. They didn’t want to be there, and we’re doing their own thing but he just decided they’re disrupting his life or could be used as leverage in whatever way he thinks will benefit him the most. I wouldn’t doubt that he killed them just to stall a little longer so he could transfer money back and forth with his sleight of hand tricks, manipulate someone in to helping him financially because he thinks he’s smarter than everyone. He didn’t think he’d get caught, no matter what he says. That was his entire goal…to get away with whatever he wanted to do, without consequences. It’s what he grew up in and he expects it.
