  2. Just realised that the bad guy trope can be a coping mechanism for people with deep trauma. The "he hates everyone but will protect you from them" to someone who is scared to be hurt again is almost comforting.
    Of course though, the (real) bad guys will use this and it is not a healthy trait to look for.

  6. I'm sorry but that's exactly the words a stalker guy I don't love said to me, about a guy he's jealous of. He likes to reverse the roles and even calls me "the devil", telling the same lies about me to the other guy I love, to make him think I'm "mean" or "not good for him". That's clearly gaslighting. So, these kind of people don't know at all what's good for others, they just love to divide, like the government, don't know how to mind their own business and love to spread lies and false rumors to break people apart with their jealousy. So, please, just leave them alone.
