Alec Baldwin and the Rust Tragedy – Part 28 Alec Sues Em All w/ Viva Frei

This story never dies and neither do Mark Groubert and Eric Hunley as they continue their exploration of The Rust movie set tragedy where Alec Baldwin shot and killed Halyna Hutchins.
Alec Baldwin has now flipped the script and filed a cross-complaint against Hannah Gutierrez Reed, Dave Halls, Sarah Zachry, and Seth Kenney of PDQ Arms and Props.
@Viva Frei joins.

  1. @28:30 we’re talking about a movie set where the movements are literally being filmed and we still don’t have a video in any of the filings or our modern technology proving he pulled the trigger in the instance of injury or not? It was literally being filmed. What kind of game is going on here? Can someone please explain to me why this is still a mystery?

  2. Get out of California Mark! We did so last year and are happier for it. While I miss my family and some places in California, I don't miss the high cost of living and I don't miss the craziness. Thank you both for the great show, as always 🙂

  3. Eric and Paul … I could listen/watch you guys describe paint drying and be captivated. Excellent as always.

As a Range Safety Officer (shotguns, pistols, and rifles) I must aver that whomever is holding/manipulating the firearm is PRIMARILY responsible to KNOW the status of the firearm. AND furthermore, it is that person’s responsibility to INFORM any and all who are present in the vicinity.

For Example: Even though YOU just checked a firearm and declared it safe … when you hand it to me I check it for myself and I will it show back to you. So that I KNOW that you KNOW that I KNOW that “WE BOTH KNOW.”

    Doubly and triply redundant.

    • Safety first
    • Safety second.
    • Safety last.

NO exceptions. NO “Well, I believed that … NO “Well, she told me that …”

I often say (and only half in jest) that the Patron Saint of Range Safety Officers is the Apostle Thomas. Yeah, him … “Doubting Thomas.”

  4. I thought the same as Mark, regarding the husband and Rust. When I heard it and everyone saying oh it’s no big deal, it works out best for him. I thought to myself maybe I’m crazy. Mark again the voice of reason.

  5. Not releasing any selection results until all the votes are tabulated does seem to be the best way to prevent fornication. If no one knows via the incremental updates how many votes are needed for any particular candidate in any particular precinct, then there's no way boxes of ballots can show up with the number any candidate needs to move things.

  6. What do they consider a “live round”? Is cartridge with a bullet? A blank with the primer? I would assume the term “live round” could be defined as a blank with a primer.

  7. I'm joining, finally found people who have an ability to think lol.
It will take a day or so to figure out how to get my payment to the channel.
I've watched before and am in the film industry, but seeing your videos, I found a great channel, I had no idea you were Conspiracy truth folks lol.
I've studied, and I mean studied many subjects for years ,
Why ? Because knowing the truth and hearing the story is usually different realities,

  8. Anything that supports convenient voting is helpful. The problem is the design of the structure around it. Should never be digital, should last more than one day, poll workers be paid and oversight be a constant. It’s the gerrymandering and the closing of polls which creates the space for corruption such as bullying and denying the right to vote.

  9. loaded guns whether blank or real bullets//……IS TOTALLY STUPID….HOLLYWOOD COULD JUST MAKE A SOUND LIKE A BULLET BEING SHOT… HOLLYWOOD SHOULD BE SUED TO OBLIVIAN…..SOUND EFFECTS WORK JUST AS GOOD….NO NEED FOR ANY BULLETS OF ANY KIND….SUE THEM TO DEATH

  10. It doesn't matter why he pulled the trigger (even if he only meant to scare people with the "blank round" just going off) Who put the live round in the revolver? Either it was a tragic mistake or was it purposeful? I do not know if we will ever find that out. If Mark is right that Baldwin was just angry at the direction he was given, is it possible he knew in advance of being told to do the close-up, (in my humble opinion, I doubt it)? If not, his foolhardy attempt to make his anger known resulted in one death and one wounded individual. He will have to live with that, but I think it will not keep him up at night, in the long run.
