Sheriff is 100% correct…if you provoke someone and they react…nothing he can do. And thats exactly what these videos are all about, intentionally trying to get a reaction to try to prove that these guys are sooooo bad…then saying "I was just walking around filming"… Who in the course of a normal day just goes to the local jail and films the premises while intentionally speaking to officers in a way that they know would get a reaction? That guy would have gotten in your face in uniform or not because he just didnt want to be filmed.

McLaughlin is a snake. I'd 100% much rather have Sheriff Blakely back even though he's a criminal. One of his deputies tried to tell me where I could stand on my own property a couple weeks ago. Told him to make me and he balked.

Sean Paul…..I am a huge supporter of yours as well as other auditors who do their work as professionally and respectfully as you do. In my opinion, you are the best auditor I have seen on YouTube and I love your channel. There are other auditors who provoke and are just nasty to government employees and at times to fellow citizens. I support their right to audit and video and even be nasty if that’s what they feel they need to do but I don’t follow them or assist them financially because I believe their rude and obnoxious behavior actually hurts auditing and inspires ire in law enforcement and others who lack knowledge of the Bill of Rights. We need more people like you auditing and standing up for all of our rights.
As for the guards / deputies and the Sheriff in this video. The guards were rude and obnoxious (like many auditors) but they don’t get paid to be rude. They are there to serve the public and they failed miserably in that effort. The Sheriff and his Sargent were pretty cool headed even thought you did not like the response from the Sheriff. I know you were there live and talking some, listening some, evaluating the circumstances as they played out plus managing the camera. I hope that when you reviewed your footage you recognized that the Sheriff DID say that he would review the bully’s behavior when he saw him as well as explain to his entire group that you had every right to be there. Frankly, I think that is about the best that you could hope for. No professional manager of people is going to discuss disciplinary actions with a stranger or even another employee (in this case another officer / deputy). He will only address that directly with the offending party. So I found the Sheriff to be OK other than his thinly veiled accusations of “trying to get a response” when taking pictures. He was totally wrong about that. You are only trying to document exactly how public officials treat you as you go about exercising your rights. Whether or not they do well or horrible is 100% up to the public official. They can walk by and say nothing (ignore). They can give a friendly greeting. They can be curious and ask what you are doing (which I think is fine as long as they do not antagonize the auditor). Or they can attempt to make it an issue by stomping on your rights (demand ID, detain you, attempt to trespass you or worse). In any of those responses it is driven by the government employee and not the auditor. The sheriff and many before him could not be any more wrong when accusing someone taking pictures as one “trying to gain a response”.
Wuss wants to be famous. Useless no job. Start trouble.
