AKA's fatal shooting in Durban under police investigation: Jayed Paulse



Musician Kiernan “AKA” Forbes was shot dead in Durban last night. The 35-year-old artist and long-time friend, 34-year-old, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane were shot several times on the pavement in front of the restaurant’s doorway as they were walking to their vehicle.

SABC News Senior Reporter Jayed Paulse speaks to Ahmed Fakroodeen who was at the scene following the AKA’s shooting.

  2. I doubt it very much that this killing is far from the deceased girlfriend situation. This case needs to be investigated by SAPS outside KZN. I hope this is not gonna be another Senzo Meyiwa case.

  3. Its too late to be conducting an investigation. Its so so sad for this death watching the video i am still scared. Yet the blame is on South African government and the nation at large. You embraced and are still embracing dudula, xenophonia on your fell neighbors. Now this has hit hard on your fellow own kin. This will always continue unless you as a nation put this barbarism to an end. AKA's was just one of the most tragedy that could have been avoided. Instead the land thrives on violence and your faith and trust has been invested in a gun.
