Idk, if you've ever been through multiple MMO launches, New World was great. Queues were long, but they made a ton of new servers quickly and are giving free unrestricted transfers within 10 days of launch. Also the performance once you got in was spectacular. The game needs work, and probably should have been delayed a lot longer, but its got great bones and the launch was one of the better MMO launches.
i'd rather pay for a shitty game than have monthly subscriptions to play a fucking video game. we do not need more subscriptions, too many exist already

New world gets shit on a lot but the game is fun. Really been enjoying my time. A lot of people are still having Q problems but luckily I’m in the minority who picked a healthy server that barely has Q times. Only time iv sat in a Q was launch day and on sat.

New silent hill would be hype and then shit at release, why? Because its 2021, all new overhyped game releases are blown to pieces all the time now.

The "Ghostbusters"-game should've been done by Saber Interactive, who remastered "The Video Game" (the one considered to be "basically Ghostbusters 3" by Dan Aykroyd and also fans), and more recently did pretty good games as well (though also some lesser ones). One coming up next year is also the "Evil Dead" game (which kinda SOUNDS/SEEMS like it would also be made by IllFonic, considering they've been doing some movie-licensed games), which could be decent. But if it works out, it would be fitting if they (Saber) also did the next "Ghostbusters"-game. – But alas, it's not the way it is… Kinda sad that Saber Interactive didn't do a "Ghostbusters" after the remaster of the one Terminal Reality made ("The Video Game"). And all Terminal Reality did since that game is 'Def Jam Rapstar' (apparently decent), 'Kinect Star Wars' (we know that one around here), and 'The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct' (which was panned), as well as reworks of the "BloodRayne"-games. – So… There are some strange timelines for all three studios and it would probably have been better if some projects were swapped between them.
Aren't all MMOs grindy, generic, and have midling stories at best? And it's not like most MMOs give you an actual purpose. I kinda feel like your criticisms of New World are more a bias against the genre than anything else. It's actually one the best MMOs to come out in a long time; I certainly enjoy it more than Destiny, Path of Exile, WoW, and ESO which all barely managed to capture interest more than a couple hours.
