  1. I played the beta and the only complaint I had was the combat always devolved into us circling each other and hitting each other maybe once every 30 seconds so battles took 15 minutes each it felt like.

  2. jesus….1:30 in and there has already been a dozen errors between what the narrator is saying and what is on screen….with an entire line of dialogue missing at the end of the first home nation description. what a joke of a game.

  3. I like it, however they're all over the map with characterization.

The name and accent of Jean match. His voice characterization and portrait match, but he's pretty much the only one. Agatha Schwartz is okay. Most of the names are very recognizable as common to a certain ethnicity that the characters don't back up. The portraits in most cases look nothing like the voice characterization. This needs a lot of work.

The town that Agatha Schwartz met you at looks nothing like the faction image for Silberblum.

It seems that the art team when off on their own and pulled off some great stuff. Then the voice team went off on their own and did some work. The content and copy team also went off and did some good stuff. Then it all just got munged together. There needs to be a lot more artistic coordination.

The game art is great, but having a mid-30s+ grizzled Viking voice paired with a character portrait that seems to be a fair, fastidious mid-20s Mediterranean (29:47) is just really puzzling. Hopefully this gets cleaned up.

  4. I always find it funny how so many Anglos don’t understand what Teutonic means and is and just put it in completely to our world unrelated games.

If by any chance someone here in this English speaking community doesn’t know what this latinized Frankish word means 😂:

Teutonic is derived from the Germanic word for „our people“ (my tribe, etc.), in this instance theothisk from the Franken. Deutschland 🇩🇪 (in Anglo: Germany), the Anglo word for Nederlands (Dutch or rather Dütsch), a Polish brand of beer Tyskie, and Swedish Tyskland (aka. Deutschland), are related to/derived from it.

In the central Germanic languages (High and low German; or Deutsch and Nederdütsch (from low German and Anglo-Norse English is derived), the first „th“ got degraded into the closely related „d“, but the Latin spelling hardened it into a „t“. Making it Teutonic in Latin and Deutsch/Dutch in the central Germanic writing form. It is most famously used by the German Order of Knights the Teutonic Order, declaring them German.
So every time someone uses the word Teutonic in a Game they are basically saying, ay they be Germans 🇩🇪 😂.

    TLDR:
    Teutonic means German🇩🇪,
    the-funny-mustache-men™️ are invading many videogame.

  5. This looks really cool. But I think that it could be better if you could control the ships altitude. It could be a good way provide obstacles and limit the players mobility while in combat so that you aren't constantly flying in circles. It could also be a way to naturally limit where the player could go by having mountains that are too tall to fly over so they must travel through a ravine instead. Weight could be a good way to affect altitude as well, the heavier a ship is the lower its max altitude is and the slower it would be able to change altitude as well which would drastically affect how it can navigate around the world or fight other ships.

  6. I'm pretty sure that we ALL love "a SWASHBUKLING good time!" don't we folks? 🤗🤗
@ 23:20 "Is he gonna be, like, the Gary to my Ash?" Oh, Mr Splatt, that is specific and bloody HILARIOUS! 🤣 (BTW, Gary is a royal pain in the arse, IMHO!) This is FUN! 😁👍
But the game's TEXT (speech, descriptions etc) needs a damn good PROOFREAD. LAZY.
