  1. Hey, Pravus go ahead and make the maximum length of platforms on all four sides of the core that you can it will look like a square with a plus sign in it with the core in the middle of it that will allow you to have the Idea of the maximum size of the airship you can have and that will also enable you to put the vortex engines at the very corner of the ship keeping it away from the people and stopping them from having any discomfort from it.
Focus on the Glider upgrades next to increase the glider speed, resource carrying capacity, and the total number of gliders you can send at a time if max the hanger research you can get away with just having one hanger in your city for the entire game playthrough.
Research all the shrine and street lamp-related upgrades to have less deconstruction to do later while having the most benefit being received from them.

  2. What you could do Prav, is put your housing in the middle of the town like you did in Frost Punk and surround it with lights and shrines to increase happiness and have the outer areas your industrial buildings. So that way it’ll keep your balance and have more lift.

  3. A thing to do is to make a road going back from the center tile of the town center and whatever you place on one side of that road you duplicate on the other side, that takes care of the right/left instability, then it's simply a matter of placing the lift in the right places along that center axis. Using this method, I usually go with having my industry section in the front on either side of the town center with the hangars and general warehouse, then in the middle I have the residential section, and at the back I have the water and farming section. NOTE: productivity is directly linked to the distance between pickup and dropoff, as such I always have my 5 charcoal kilns directly in front of the town center and 2 warehouses as the first buildings on both sides of the town center, as the only place that stores coal is the town center.

  4. "Who knows how many centuries later this technology will still be relevant."

Archaeologist here. One of the tools I use on a daily basis is the lowly (but useful) shovel. Every time I pick a shovel up, I marvel at the fact that I hold in my hand a tool that any legionnaire in ancient Rome would recognize and know how to use. Some technology never stops being relevant.
