I was also one among the crowd. It was a total failure on the part of the State Government. Policemen who were on duty mainly took care of the VIPs. Neither proper drinking facilities nor medical aid for the needy people. No volunteers were available at any place in the crowd. I saw people faint one after another mainly due to scorching heat and large gatherings of people without giving space. Irrespective of the cast, people from all walks of life were affected. After the fair, no shuttle buses were arranged to the railway stations, and the people used to walk from Marina Beach to LIC and other railway stations where thousands gathered to take tickets for further journeys. The court should order an inquiry commission to investigate for a detailed report.
Why they have put a crap BGM , it is not required. The real sound produced my these machines is lost in the BGM
