  1. While I think it's bit weird everyone has lived getting stabbed, while it was a death sentence for Qui Gon. But if we really think about it, Episode 1 happened around 32 BBY, while Kenobi is 10 years after the events of RotS, making it around 9BBY. Now, if we look at the real world and see what technology has advanced in 20 years. Put it in Star Wars setting where the society is so far advanced, their small advancements where it probably takes months, if not weeks would take us years if not decades with IRL technology. So, it's not outlandish to think that in 20 years, especially after an important Jedi Master died, they either advanced bacta tank technology or invented something else. Plus, these people are also being stabbed at ground level. Qui Gon fell down a fuckin bottomless pit. He could've easily passed out and died on impact, not being able to use the force and whatnot consciously. Yes, I know Maul lived being cut in half. But he's also sith and we've seen (at least in legends) where sith refuse to die and continue living based off of hatred, like Darth Sion from KOTOR 2.

Now, I don't know what to say about Reva surviving as a kid though. That's honestly just bad plot armor. Regardless of hatred or even if she was Anakin Skywalker and the chosen one by the force. She's not supposed to be able to take a lightsaber to the gut and live AS A KID . That was just stupid.

Also, your fanbase is stereotypical star wars fans. The show is fine and they are just crying in that chat. Lmao. (After you released the poll, it seems as though it was just the loud as fuck minority striking once again)

  2. I loved it personally. I do think it’s interesting that Sabine is more like a force adherent and not really a force sensitive. I do agree that the story should’ve focused on Ahsoka but at the same time we haven’t seen Sabine since Rebels but we’ve seen Ahsoka in the Mandalorian and Book of Boba, so we kinda know what she’s been doing recently. I love that David Tennant is still playing Huyang and Clancy Brown is still playing the governor. 9/10 from me as well. I’m glad that Sabine is still sassy as ever, didn’t change her. Chopper in live action was so cool… I’m looking forward to this show in the future. Overall loved it and I really hope since they introduced a “new galaxy” I hope they introduce the Yuzang Vong cause they came from a different galaxy. I’m not expecting it but I wouldn’t be surprised if Dave did that.

  3. That Rebel Moon actually looks very surprisingly cool. It feels like it has elements of Mad Max with the clothing, Dune with the fierce desert and action, star wars lasers and sabers, and maybe it has it's own story going on, very interesting and weird. I wonder if it will be good etc. Seems like it will succeed wildly.

  4. Good start but yeh it felt more like Rebels continuation rather than an Ahsoka show. And yeh they should have cut off one of Sabines limbs not bloody stab her and she survives its trash, took me out of the show. But the rest was Star Wars really good.

  5. To be fair in regards to qui-gon's death he was stabbed in a different place. Qui-Gon was stabbed center-mass directly above the gut near the solar plexus or diaphragm. His stab wound would have led to death in minutes as it would have gone through several organs and potentially destroyed his diaphragm. Sabine was stabbed off to the side meaning more than likely vital organs were not outright destroyed but simply damaged. A gunshot wound to the same area she was stabbed would lead to a slow death if not treated but if treated was definitely survivable especially with the cauterizing effect of a lightsaber.. As for Reva in Obi-Wan that was BS…. we didn't see the exact spot she was stabbed but considering she didn't have medical attention she shouldn't have survived unless she use the Darkside.

  6. Sabine fucking up and losing the map because she acts like a teenage girl was so obvious. Uninspired writing. Also too much focus on sulking from sabine.
In general, the character pulled both episodes down.

  7. Crazy how peopl try to spin their woke narrative already: Out of the four empire loyalists attacking Hera and Ahsoka at the facility only two were white men. The other two were women. One white and one asian.

  8. I feel like there is a slight mismatch between Ahsoka at the end of rebels (white cloak and staff, more centred) and the live action Ahsoka (brown cloak, moody). Also not totally on board with Sabine's force powers retrofit. Otherwise really enjoying it.

  10. The live chat is absolutely nuts lol. Spamming how slow and boring it is and how woke/feminist it is. My eyes were glued to the screen and I couldn't get enough the first time I watched, but apparently a lot of people have the attention span of a goldfish these days. The pacing in these first two episodes is pretty on par with the original trilogy I would say. Also the number of people complaining about female characters is extra nuts. There's nothing woke or feminist about this show, so far at least, so anyone complaining about that just labels themself ignorant. Yes, most of the characters so far have been female – but those characters are very well established and have been around for YEARS already, and they're good characters, so I'm not sure what anyone was expecting differently? Did no one watch Rebels??

Anyway, I am loving the show so far. It just feels like Star Wars through and through. Started reading the new Thrawn trilogy this week in anticipation of this show and I'm about to finish the third book – gonna be so lit when he appears after reading about what he was working on before his disappearance

Edit: It sounds to me like theory didn't read the new Thrawn trilogy. In regards to the "new galaxy", that sort of thing was introduced and already talked about a bit in the Thrawn books. They talk a lot about the unknown regions and other galaxies. That is where the Chiss Ascendancy is located, Thrawn's people. His purpose for serving the Empire was to build connections between the Empire and the Chiss to face a common enemy in the unknown regions – the Grysk. The Grysk are basically the new Yuuzhan Vong – they're pretty different as far as I know, but they are the threat from the unknown regions in canon now not the yuuzhan vong. As for the force not being a thing in that other galaxy, I don't think that's true either. Even the Chiss still have a connection to the force in the books, but they call it by a different name. So yes, maybe they will go into magic a little bit more, but the Force will be the focus for sure of this show with Ahsoka and Sabine and the dark jedi – at least I hope so… The writers introducing another galaxy has nothing to do with them not messing with georges galaxy – it's just heavily tied to Thrawn as a character. The galaxy is so massive that there is no limit to what new things they can do in it without effecting any of the established stuff.

  11. The only hints of wokeness I’ve seen is the all female leading cast. Can’t really explain that like you are saying all the men died. Zeb and Rex are alive and around. But idk if this is furtherance of a woke agenda yet or not so not judging. Also all the imperials were white men so there’s that. Bit weird how Disney is all about pushing diversity in their movies but when it comes to imperials they mostly if not all white men.

  12. Very mid. The shots and scenes drag on for way too long, I don't like how lightsaber fights are mostly close up shots or how they're suddenly shooting sparks when colliding. It also feels very weird seeing animated characters have real life characters play them because they look way to different. Idk man, I've really lost interest when it comes to Star Wars

  13. It was really great watching these 2 episodes live with you, my 2 sons had a great time. I didn't enjoy rebels and I don't enjoy this show much. This show is what Kathleen meant when she said "The Force is female". The sheer amount of estrogen in this show kinda makes me sick, but there are cool aspects. This show is for girls, and it's pretty obvious.
