I love that we see an Anakin post vader that has accepted every aspect of himself and become balanced
the switch to vader was great acting from hayden, the change in his voice and demeanour was subtle yet obvious
Call me a nerd but I like to think that Anakin Skywalker met Revan in the Force who taught him to control both the Light and Dark Side.
Honestly there is something truly terrifying about Anakin asking "you want me to be more serious?" While walking straight towards someone in stride. Like bro no it was a joke lollll
That man always cries…
The fact Jacen can sense ahsoka as she is in the world between worlds is fucken impressive. He has great potential. With the proper master he can become a power jedi.
This episode is something unbelievably special. I cried watching it. I then immediately watched this video and cried again. Then I watched it again and cried some more.
It is special in a very different way then Luke showing up in Mando, but to the same level.
Both truly do not have the words to fully describe why and how it is so special.
So it appears that Anakin has brought balance to the force (as was prophesized) by becoming the Father, and Ahsoka the Daughter.
Is Baylan destined to become the Son?
I loved Hayden's performance as Anakin in this episode! I am convinced he has become the (Mortis Trinity) Father. Way back in The Clone Wars Season 3, the Father knew when he saw Anakin that it was his destiny. That's why the Son's actions back then profoundly angered the Father. It seemingly went deeper than we initially were led to believe back then.
'you lack conviction' is the RAWEST fucking vader line to exist and i love that Hayden got to deliver it. also i never realized how much i loved the camera spin after a hyperspace jump. such a small inconsequential choice but i love it so much
7:49 Eric going full crackhead mode
3 fans of key jingling dingle berries, I mean member berries and checks from Disney Corp to shill for this awful show.
Serious question, how did Anakin's appearance in episode 5 push this "plot driven" story (which is "Find Grand Admiral Thrawn" forward?
Newsflash, IT DIDN'T.
Hera is letting Chopper babysit? Does Star Wars have child protective services? Do we need to call?
Man, this entire episode was a cinematic masterpiece. Truly some of the most beautiful and deep sequences that I've ever seen in any piece of fiction. Wonderous, just wonderous.
This whole series just feels like Star Wars more than anything that’s come out in the last 20 years. The vibe is right. The aesthetic is right. I don’t know how to describe it in detail it’s just a quality. The mystery is back.
The "I won't fight you" line that Anakin recognized was from Rebels when she faced Vader. (I'm sure it was also a reference to luke and Vader in the movies at the time, but I feel like Anakin was talking about the time she said it to him in this moment).
You gotta love how everyone is upset with Sabine…Huyang doesn't think she's training hard enough, Ahsoka is upset with her for the decision, Shin loathes her, Baylan didn't keep his word and the Night Sisters don't even refer to her as a sentient being😂
Ahsoka: I know how to follow Sabine
DBZA Aquaman: WE CAN USE WHAAAAAAALES
this shows me we need a live action "during the fall" order 66 show. could be a young jedi we never heard of trying to escape what was going on. it can even be dark with they dying just to show just how bad the rise of the empire was.
YOU NOTICED ANAKIN'S FOOTSTEPS SOUND LIKE VADER'S YEEEES
Obi-Wan also said "I will not fight you" to him once. So he's heard it at least twice and Ahsoka has no way of knowing that.
I mean… about Ahsoka having so many force abilities, she is the chosen one's Padawan and he just finished her training from the fucking afterlife. I don't even wanna hear people say she's too strong.
Eric spent half the episode on his feet, and I don't blame him. This show is one of my favorite things to come from recent Star Wars. Dave Filoni has truly created a masterpiece with these characters he has developed over the past 15 years. Both TCW and Rebels hold a special place in my heart, and it's amazing to see these stories continued.
It's Anakin fulfilling his role as the chosen one, an eternal being in the force.
I like how the "you lack conviction" sounded like a voice modulator…Vader-ish
