Richard's appeal is about far more than his "voice." He touched and connected with the audience (and the judges) in a unique and powerful way. It isn't about how a singer's skills are technically evaluated, it's about whether they make you feel something. Something special is conveyed from Richard to the audience and then mirrored back to him ini a continuous love cycle. This is the special sauce that distinguishes "pretty good performers" from stars.

As an Israeli I've been following the amazing Roni and Rhythm duo throughout the season and was hoping for them to win. They were SPECTACULAR, well done!!! when the finals happened I watched all Richard's performances and he was amazing, his audition brought me to tears. I don't think there was a better performance between Richard and Roni, its impossible to compare an amazing dance act to an amazing singer, but I am really happy for Richard, he deserved it just like Roni and Rhythm, well done:)
