  1. With deathwatch you can give a character beacon, let them deepstrike and rapid ingress for 0cp. If your taking the captain with the biologis then can give thief of secrets to the captain for +1 strength, AP and damage. (Gets upgraded to +2 if kills a unit I believe) then the whole units bolters can be buffed with the bolter strats

  2. I'm going to try them with boltstorm gauntlets in Firestorm. Maybe not as effective in this detachment as flamestorm gauntlets, but they'll be going with a Biolgis in a Land Raider Crusader. So I think they'll still be able to do a good amount of damage.

  3. I'm curious to see what the numbers from a Vanguard detachment's Aggressor blob with The Blade Driven Deep.

Sure, you can't get the burst damage, but I'd venture to guess that with both delivery and survivability, they would be able to get more damage out of the whole game total than the Salamanders.

It's really hard to calculate the benefit of turn 1 delivery and more bullets due to less casualties since there is no average numbers you can throw at it.

  4. They ain't gonna be smiling when they are hit by Vindicator shells and Havoc Las cannons, or some nippy fire prism and dark reapers have them in their sights. Then they be not so dangerous.

  5. What do people think about delivering them in a Stormraven with a Dreadnought as backup? I know a Redemptor would be the sensible option but I play Black Templars and I really want to drop a Brutalis on my opponent 😂

  6. I’ve got 12 aggressors with bolt storm and fragstorm, they were my white scars successors assault advance and charge line breakers in 9th.
Won me my local tourney, super cool models.

Nice to see they are getting a glow up in 10th too!

  7. I liked Aggressors before and had 6 in 9e. I recently got 3 more because they’re great — and look cool too!

I just wish the model poses were more dynamic because none of the three look like they’re actively shooting. I know some SM models are in non-shooting poses — although that’s more the case for the multi-part kits compared to monopose — but at least 2 of the 3 Aggressors should be shooting.

I wonder if it’s a weight distribution problem and they’d topple over if their arms were raised higher to shoot. Right now they can stand on their own without a base. But they’d be glued to their base on the tabletop so it doesn’t matter if they’re more top heavy.

Regardless, Aggressors are great! I wish there were more Gravis units available, both troops and characters.

  8. Anti-tank is efficient against them needs an astrisk next to it. "Ha, I fired an 8 damage shot from my Gladiator Lancer into the aggressors!" Removes 35 points from the battle field Vs removing 2/3rds of another, enemy Lancer, 2/3rds of a 160 point model, or 107 points. Anti-tank kills them quickly, on a per shot basis. 35 points removed on successful damage isn't great for most anti-tank. Sure, Meltas will ruin these guys day, and struggle vs heavy armor, but say, Las cannons might be a little wasted, as is anything heavier.

  9. Why dont for the same price? They just add a servo skull that matches the unit and BOOM just one more thing for your dollar! It has the same data card and just looks appropriate different?….ok i just like the servo skulls. Where's there, box!? 💀-🤖 🎉

  10. I love Aggressors (and all Gravis armour in general). I would like to see all Gravis armoured troops dropped back down to Toughness 5 but boosted to a 2+ save however. I figure that way they'd be a happy medium between Tacticus and Terminator Armour with the armour save of the terminators but lacking the 4++ Invulnerable save..
