  1. I've been following quill since paradox games were good! How cool to see you two playing together!!

This game is neat. The obvious comparison is definitely "They are billions" but maybe more polished?

I think From Glory to Goo has the potential to be the best of these survival RTS' with the added wrinkle of the ship in orbit and the firepower/econ it can lend to the fight. But right now I do think this is the best game in this little sub genre.

The enemy Elite shrine prevents buildings in a medium radius. Killing the Elite who spawns at Night will allow normal building placement.

The Dark Crystals wave spawn points also prevent buildings in a small radius.

In rare cases, RNG map gen will troll you with gold veins inside not buildable places.

  3. I really hope they put in some good Sam Raimi quotes…

But its nice to see an RTS reminiscent of WC3 and SC. I miss playing them… Age of Mythology was another favorite of mine, but Warcraft has my heart. I also miss the competitive modes, like footmen frenzy and such! Good times. 😂

  4. I have been eyeing They Are Billions for a while but never took the plunge because I wasn't all that sold on the setting. But this game being set in Fantasy and having Co-op now as well? That's a definite buy. Thanks for showing it off.
