AGAINST THE ODDS | Wrestlings Greatest Underdogs

Everyone loves a good underdog story. It’s the reason that movies like Rocky, Rudy, or any of the Charlie Chaplin films have found so much success with audiences over the years. And when it comes to the world of wrestling, fans there are no different as, while we all like to see a dominating force such as a Brock Lesnar or a Hulk Hogan, there’s still something special about seeing someone have to fight their way up from underneath, succeeding in the end despite all odds being against them. But who are the best of these figures? Well, join us today as we look at them in Against The Odds: Wrestling’s Greatest Underdogs.

  1. A smart business man would have looked at what Zack Ryder did and be so impressed. Pushed himself while off the clock, sold $$$$ in mech because of this, making $$$$ for the company without them pushing him. Should have received a pay increase instead of punishment. Should have been a long term tag champ and let him carry someone without mic skills. As we enter the age of Hunter, I hope (and I think) he will do a better job.

  2. Kofi was nothing more then Vince giving back to the black people lmfao he knows he buries them all and felt bad for all the years and years of the stereotypical comedic gimmicks he's giving them its the sad hard truth

Nothing about Spike Dudley was ever funny or underdog like just another pathetic excuse as a wrestler

  3. I was always a WWF guy, and always enjoyed Spike Dudley and Crash Holly. The hardcore guys and the tag teams that always used TL&C were always the most entertaining and skillful to watch.

I was surprised to not see the Hurricane on here though lol

  4. I will never understand why a company tries to bury their own product, i.e. a wrestler. Can you imagine Marvel continually shit-talking or dissuading audiences from going to see an Avengers movie? WTF.

  5. Rey is overrated. He’s boring on the mic, has only one card to play (underdog), always a generic babyface, same move set, no evolution or depth. They could have made him more of a HHH-type heel, someone that wins with his mind and/or manipulates others or at least had him turn heel, at least then they could have used the small guy who got tired of others having all the advantages and started cheating as a result type of angle. But no, same boring, generic character for decades.
