In the 2022/23 season, the small-town team achieved historical greatness by securing promotion to 2. Bundesliga for the first time ever! The municipality Spiesen-Elversberg is located in the Neunkirchen district in Saarland, Germany, and has a population of only 12,500 people. In our series, we will introduce you to some of them, sharing their fan stories about the team and the great journey to 2. Bundesliga.
