I’m so so proud of the launch of “against all odds” especially after reading and listening about how it came about. A big Weldone to you Temi , the team and everyone that made this happen. It’s the beginning of a very very impactful project.
Thank you, Temi Badru and the amazing team behind this event. I really look up to Temi. I try to model after her and I visualize myself being an exceptional compere like she is.
Special thank you to the keynote speaker. She was very relatable. I also struggled with enduresis and low self esteem. I am not where I ought to be academically but I am striving towards it.
The MC did a fab job engaging the audience.
The story of the widowed woman who became financially liberated through carpentry is inspirational. I followed my uncle to fix his car at the mechanic shop and it was eye opening seeing how much they made in less than an hour. I went home and excitedly told my dad( God rest his soul) that I wanted to become an apprentice but he didn't take me serious. I was laughed at for trying to "think like a man."
The panelists were carefully selected and they delivered.

Overall, this was absolutely worth every second.
