AGAINST ALL ODDS! Mulching In A Road Through Thick Brush With The MTL XCT!

AGAINST ALL ODDS! We are back out at the farm property mulching in a road through some NASTY and THICK Sweetgum trees with the MTL XCT! Unfortunately, the seals in the MTL XCT motor may be finally going bad and the motor is starting to leak a little oil from the housing. Despite this, we got the job done with the Prinoth M450e-900 Munchie Mulcher! Also cleaned up the embankments around the pond!

  1. the section by the dirt pile looks too narrow and uneven. You could have cut more out of the dirt pile, widened that section and leveled it out. JMO. I wouldn't have left it like that.

  2. How close does the blade plate sit above the skid plates on that brush cutter? I've got this crazy idea of making a 3pt brush hog similar to one of those. Have the rear cut out with a push bar and possibly mulching teeth on the stump jumper.

  3. Okay, I'm stumped! Editing question: How did you get sound overlayed on the drone footage? Does that drone have sound? Or you pulled audio from a gopro and overlapped it. However you did it; that is a sweet video!

  4. 1:58 I've never heard of a Tamagotchi. Did the land owner get another mini excavator? I know he just got a Takeuchi but is the Tamagotchi a new type that he decided to get too? Did he trade the Takeuchi in for a new Tamagotchi? Is it maybe a prototype that a new company is letting you demo for the channel? You're going to have to make a video explaining what is going on with the Tamagotchi mini excavator. Do they make skidsteers too? What color are they? Can't wait to hear about this. LOL❗😂🤣😂 You make it so easy sometimes. You hardly ever get close to the right pronunciation of Takeuchi. Real close every now and then. It's slightly funny sometimes but this one by far takes the cake as the best pronunciation of it yet! You're awesome! LOL! Can't stop 🤣! Now you need decals that say Tamagotchi the same size as the decals on the Takeuchi so you can replace all the skidsteer decals with the "correct" spelling. Almost fell out my chair I was laughing so hard. Oh and you said it so nonchalant like too! Like that was 100% how to say it. Oh jeez my sides hurt now! Thank you. Don't change anything about yourself. You're great! Please don't be upset, I'm only giving you a hard time about something that I got a kick out of and seriously please don't ever change dude. Just razzing you like any good buddy would do in this situation. Stay safe. -Wil 👍

  5. Talking about gum trees being like a weed and just cutting the tree won't kill it, crepe myrtle trees are the same but worse. I cut some down that where very large 5 years ago and ground out the stumps completely and as many of the large roots as I could get even ones just under the ground. Every year sprouts grow back all over that area in the yard in like a 20' diameter of where the tree was. Up close to where the tree was they come up in little clumps. I've dug out as many roots as I can find, spray roundup on them, and mow them down with the mower. I'm still getting them after 5 years all spring and summer they sprout all over that part of the yard sometimes in the same places but mostly new spots. Very aggravating.

  6. Everything looked nice when you got done. I really liked how the hill by the pond cleaned up. Made a nice area up to the pine trees. If he keeps it mowed that would be a nice spot just to sit and relax watching the pond and nature. Good video. Stay safe. -Wil 👍

  7. I live in a country of gum trees – pretty hard to kill them that's for sure. The ravages of the fires over the past few year attest to that. Good job despite those stumps.

  8. I only have an old 23 HP tractor with a 4ft bush hog. I was dying to have your machine when I ran it today in an old field that hadn't been mowed in 20 years or so. I would have been done before lunch.
