Abinas Nayak, Master Chef Winner talked about how his love and passion for cooking led him
to pursue his career in the same and how his persistence and dedication led him to win the Master
Chef Season 6. He ardently described how he changed his perspective to see how food is prepared. Which is not just cooking it but the whole science from how the raw materials are acquired and how it’s used. He resembled his life to simple equations in LHS and RHS and said how sometimes you have to chuck out the steps to achieve marks. The heart of Odisha, the man who dug out lost cuisines of Odisha to lift the title of the winner of MasterChef India season 6 – Abinas Nayak. Hailing from Berhampur, Odisha, Abinas who’s a 30-year-old full-time food fanatic at heart has won the nation’s heart with his impeccable presentations and his knowledge of ingredients and taste. But this wasn’t his first big win in a culinary competition. With his passion for cooking, he has bagged various awards and titles. Like, in 2019, Abinas won the Masterchef Lokicooks Fellowship Competition and in 2018, he was awarded as the Hungry For Haldiram of the year. All of Abinas’ MasterChef journey is well documented right from the time he serenaded the judges with the Odia dish chicken besara to the finale where he whipped up a delicious three-course meal, including chingudi (prawn), ada mangsa (ginger mutton) and ending it with chhena poda, Odisha’s famous cheese dessert. Abinash made us all believe that our passion is our energy and the power that comes from focussing on what actually interests you is inevitable. He gave us some major inspiration to take time out for the things that we love and pursue them.
