Taking a detour down south is unironically a great idea, having a better suit would go a long way towards solving this rads problem, which is honestly only gonna get worse the farther north you go

For the Vaulting i actually found out you can extend the vaulting range if you press space again after jumping, that allows you to do some "parkour" (You have to look at the edge of whatever you are trying to climb tho for it to register vaulting input)! Stamina drain depends on your equipment load, you were in the yellow weight so it drained almost all your stamina

One thing though your priorities are messed up
You should prioritize NATO weaponry over Warsaw pact (I'm talking about the AEK) as it is just a piece of metal without ammo
Also Should've picked up your dead companion's weapon at the factory and replace the Mosin with the kar

if you ever get companions and dont like that they always fight without you wanting them then you can talk to every companion individually and talk about tactics and then put then to only shoot people who shoot you first so you can do sneaky plays without the companions just going guns blazing evertime lol

You accidentally clip a guy on your team and the rest of your faction hates you forever! Yup, friendly fire means you can never go back to your base without either killing half of them or cheating!

If you get enough ammo for the shotgun I would say also going through Clear Sky while you go down south. Plenty of good loot off them.

Holy shit man!!! WTH they did with Brain Scorcher in this new GAMMA version? If you rush to the disabling switch, you die to enemy bullets. If you take your time to kill all the heavily geared monolith soldiers in your way, you also die due to timeout. A heavy armor seems to be a must to complete this quest now, but by the time you get this quest, you'll still be wearing a medium armor.

Just discovered that there's a drug making kit in that above ground factory in the lab section. When you're first going through the outside part and theres buidling to explore off to the left and right. Fully explore the left buidling and you'll find it. Makes exploring buildings very worth it. and it felt so satisfying and immersive lol
