Thanks for talking about how things really are.
Thank you Professor Carol Miller Swain for the tragic considerations that you covered here…
I was fortunate to grow up in a community where I went to school 2600 students for three grades and 2/3 Black students. We all went to the same parties, planned for college together, boys either went to college or worked the steel mills. I went to my 40th Class Reunion and was one of a handful of white attendees. We had a BLAST!!! When I moved to Cleveland in my 20's I expected it to be the same. While in college I was in the work-study program and took a job downtown. The first day I was introduced to the staff and here I am "Hi, Nice to meet you!, What's going on!" I felt a little funny they all looked at me with shocked and confused looks. We got back to the boss's office and he turned and said to me "Your not from around here are you?" I really missed home. I feel outrage for my Black friends who have to bear the stigma of the behavior from loss of family values and direction
We Appreciate You More Than You Know. Thank You for Leading! ❤️✝️🇺🇸🗽⚔️
