  1. @12:24 every other account of this battle that ive watched or read it was said that Alexander was so impressed by the bravery of the Greek mercenaries that he spared them. This account seems more likely to me. Why would he leave a large group of highly trained disloyal men in his wake? Sweet video. Nice job

  2. Stunning video as usual! For the next several videos, you should do the Battle of Kadesh (1274 B.C.E.) and Suppiluliuma vs. Tausret (non-historical) for Pharaoh, the Battle of Watling Street (61 C.E.) and Carthage vs. Royal Scythia (non-historical) for Rome II, and the Siege of Milan (452 C.E.) and Vandals vs. Picts (non-historical) for Attila. As always, keep up the awesome work👍!

  4. Thanks for another great video my friend! It has been awhile and I understand that quality takes time. I hope all is well and you continue to provide much needed content to the fanbase. You were the first content creator that I watched that provided historical battle recreations. I will remain loyal and will help support that channel as well. Thanks for your time and effort and I can't wait to see what you cook up next!

  5. Nice video! But can you do me two battles, please:

    1. Battle of Ravi/Mongol Invasions of India (2 separate videos) — the Battle of Ravi takes place in 1306 CE. Do you remember the battle of Ain Jalut, that one battle where the Mongols were stopped by the Mamluks and ended their plan of conquering the Middle East? Well 😏, let's just say that the Middle East wasn't the only place in Asia they invaded. They made an invasion plan to conquer India, and to end the Delhi Sultanate in the years from 1221 CE to 1327 CE. It is one of the most iconic invasions that the Mongol Empire has ever done, especially because of Alauddin Khalji. However, the most iconic battle from these invasions of India was the Battle of Ravi in 1306 CE. This battle changed the course of the invasions of India as the Mongols don't want to invade India if Alauddin was the ruler.

    2. India vs Persian/Achaemenid Empire, aka the Persian Invasions of India — Do you remember the iconic 2004 movie Alexander, the TOP-BEST favorite depiction of Alexander the Great and my pick for Best Ancient War Movie category (if there is a category called that at the Oscars), the movie that had the greatest battle scene of all time (Battle of Gaugamela)? Well, in that movie, Alexander fought both the Persian/Achaemenid Empire in Battle of Gaugamela and India in the Battle of the Hydaspes. Well, I had a thought in my head, and it's a huge one. Was there a time that the Persians battled and faced the mighty war elephants of India? Well, I did some research on this, and I found out……there ACTUALLY WAS a time when that happened. It was known as the Persian Invasions of India, a huge invasion of India made by Cyrius the Great, and later continued by Darius the Great, that lasted from 535 BCE to 323 BCE. This is literally the best thing we've ever seen out of the Persian/Achaemenid Empire and Ancient India!
