  2. I just came upon your volgs and the scenery is breath taking. I can imagine living so close to a glacier, let alone getting some crystal clear ice for my drink 🧊. Do you guys have to worry about avalanches there in town. Love these vlogs. 🙏❤️

  3. You two are so rad! Up in Alaska we use a similar method to beach launch boats. And almost none fit properly in the trailers! Lol! Looks like you absolutely sped through the retrofit and repair work too! That's cool to see in such a seemingly remote place. Bushcraft ingenuity and engineering! So excited to see the types of fishing you do there too! It's been a real treat watchin yer videos and getting to know Svalbard!

  4. I noticed that you enjoy very much the coffee. But nothing compares with the portuguese and italian coffees 😉, in that small cups, with a lot of cream, and quite strong. In Portugal we call that coffee "bica" and we love to drink it in the morning, middle of the morning, after the lunch… and… after that it's better to stop here, otherwise you will keep awake all the rest of the night… When we were in Scandinavia this summer we missed very much this latin ritual… the portuguese and italian coffees… Great video, once again!!! Greetings from Lisbon – PT!!

  6. Absolutely stunning! I was getting a little stressed out with the boat issue myself, and I'm all the way over here in the US! Glad you all are back in business now and can take a few more trips before winter. I have The 1st book in that series just waiting to be read. I think I should get started on it very soon. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us.

  8. I truly enjoyed this video. I can imagine all the effort it takes to put a video together. So thank you for taking the time to make it. It turned into a masterpiece.

Side note, it seems the husband and neighbor were in a somewhat grumpy mood.🫤

  10. you should get a metal bucket with holes punched all over it , put your drinks in it place it in water , just enough to cover and tie off with small rope. metal bucket, hammer n nail for holes, small rope. then cold drinks. i dont know how cold water is but if really cold should just take minutes.

  11. Fantastic drone footage! So very wild and beautiful, seemingly unspoiled by humans. Grateful the red-listed walrus finds sanctuary there. You’re so right about how the landscape reminds us how small we are.

  12. Hi Cecilia! Great video, as always 🥰 I’m glad your boat is ok!
I have one question: is it safe to use that ice? It looks very clean but, doesn’t it have microorganisms that could be dangerous? 🫣 Just curious…
Btw, I have just been to Norway on vacation and I LOVED it so much that I am actually learning norwegian 🙃 I was in Oslo and Bergen. Hopefully next year I can visit Svalbard 🤞🏻
    Cheers! 🤗
