Reject Mugabe, Return a once great state named after a great explorer
Those who say Rhodesia was good and white supremacist were ruling much better because Zimbabwe is struggling with bad economy it is Zimbabweans land not white people even if they live poor now they can always become rich is they want to it is thier land thier problems ❤ 🇿🇼
It's the story of Rhodesia, the land of fair and great.
suddenly remember iconic COD BlackOps moment
"DEATH TO THE MPLA !"
Imagine coming to an undeveloped land, slowly making it into a productive and prosperous place, being empathetic enough to let the people who never worked it in, and then being bitten for your trouble and watching, in dismay, as all your hardwork is undone as animals eat it all and are confused when there's nothing left, failing to grasp even the most basic tenants of maintenance
White people in SA especially the famers need to leave and let the blacks figure it out them selfs or starve. SA went from the most productive and prosperous nation in the whole of Africa to just another 3rd world tribal hell hole. The got what they wanted
Since the two conflicts were deeply intertwined, it’d be interesting to see something on the South African Bush War as well, since it’s another poorly understood southern African post-colonial conflict.
Rhodesia. From richest countries to failed state.
I always find funny how historians talk about the Smith government as if it were bad 😂😂😂
"…Zimbabwe emerged from the ashes of Rhodesia carrying with it the scars of decade long war but also the sense of a new found sovereignty".
And they lived happily ever after………………………………………….
The Rhodesians would've won the Bush War, if Britain hadn't rejected UDI, and insisted on having Rhodesia be internationally sanctioned and treated as a pariah state. Both Harold Wilson & Ted Heath share this blame.
B.J Vorster also bears some blame in putting the final nail in the coffin, by cutting off Rhodesia's final economic lifeline. Ian Smith was an exceptionally tenacious and spirited leader for his time.
Its a shame Rhodesia was forced into accepting the fate of Mugabe & ZANU-PF's rule. What was once the breadbasket of Africa was turned into a famine-stricken basket-case, ruled by kleptocrats.
Those boys rocked
Rhodesiaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
Some of the pronunciations are horrendous but fair enough video
I’m sure nothing bad will happen now that a nice agreement for governance was made
OMFG not every conflict needs to be someone else's Vietnam! Indonesia, Yemen, Afghanistan, now Rhodesia. This is stupid!
Be a man among men.
having this compared to the Vietnam war is bullshit.
Rhodesian never dies!
How about an analysis of life in Rhodesia vs modern Zimbabwe. Or in South Africa.
Lots of information was left out here, especially the aftermath of Mugabes rule. The Gukurahundi should’ve been in the video.
RHODESIANS NEVER DIE
Can you do a video of the war of the Pacific 1879 please
Fun fact: John Edmond, singer of most Rhodesian songs, is still alive to this day
