Aerials over London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports amid delays



Passengers have been told to expect delays of up to 12 hours as air traffic controllers across the UK are experiencing a technical fault.

Some 3,049 flights were due to depart from UK airports today and another 3,054 flights were scheduled to arrive – with around one million passengers on board.

  1. So…for me it has State sponsored hack written all over it…..or maybe Windows 95 needs upgrading……what a very serious threat….what next…water, electricity, hospitals or the finance sector….

  2. Wow, I can't believe how lucky I am for my flight to not be cancelled, it was scheduled with Corendon Airlines from Dalaman Airport to Gatwick Airport on the 28th August, and only got delayed by 15-30mins, and to add, I had a spare seat as no one was sitting next to me
