Admiral Makharov, presumed flagship of the Russian Black Sea fleet.

Reports from occupied Crimea are suggesting that the Admiral Makarov, which is presumably the flagship of the Black Sea fleet, has been hit. The Admiral Makarov is a comparitively new ship, construction of which started on 29 February 2012. The ship was launched nearly four years later. It has been involved in terrorist attacks via cruise missiles on civilian targets and infrastructure in Ukarine since the beginning of Putin’s agression.

My history channel is based on my own research and generally comes from places I have visited and or original research. I live in a motorhome and as such spend most of my time travelling between Poland, Germany and Italy which is why there is a tendency to produce material from these countries, and sometimes material that is not available in English. My speciality is in World War Two, and in particular, the Holocaust although as you can see, I have opinions on a lot of other historical subjects too.

  2. I've not seen news on this before watching your post, thanks for the early breaking news.

This is a good successful action for the Ukrainian forces. Once again highlights the differences between the targets between the Russians and Ukraine. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ€œπŸ€›πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦
