Additional three Black Hawks to arrive in Australia in 2024

Defence Minister Richard Marles says an “additional three” Black Hawk helicopters are set to arrive in Australia during 2024.

Mr Marles says it has been a “challenge” since the permanent grounding of the Taipan helicopters back in September.

“We previously said that we would be speaking with the US government about seeing where they could be an expediting of the delivery of the Black Hawks.

“We’ve now gotten an additional three during the course of this year which will mean by the end of this year we will have twelve.”

“Three of those will be in place by the end of the march.

“That’s bringing forward a significant number and does go a long way to closing that capability gap.”

  1. NOT NEWS ON THE PRO TRUMP NETWORK: **A federal appeals court on Tuesday said that Donald Trump is not immune from prosecution for alleged crimes he committed during his presidency, flatly rejecting Trump's arguments that he shouldn't have to go on trial on federal election subversion charges.** LOCK HIM UP

  2. Dont believe this guy, he has talked about missiles weapons ships etc but nothing has been delivered, all he has done is to diminish the ADF.
Burying helicopters in the desert is disarming Australia.
Will jinping congratulate the labor government for correct thinking again

  3. Great job on getting us three Blackhawks faster Dicky Marles, but let’s recap on the rest. You didn’t mention the incredible haste with which your government took the decision to strip & bury the Taipan fleet without allowing proper time to seek potential buyers/donors. You blamed the other guys (yet again) this time re the age of RAN surface fleet. Maybe that’s because the F-35 program was the big ticket item in that time frame and as per usual with the ADF, something always has to give (Did you or the ALP ever campaign for more funds for defence?) You’ve extended the term of the most woke, divisive and anti rank and file CDF our military has ever had, You stated your government has communicated, in the strongest terms!, the (latest) CCP kangaroo court decision but did your government do that in relation to to the PLAN’s deliberate harming of ADF personnel and interference in operations in international waters? Or was that kept quiet so nothing would interfere with Albo’s PR stunt to China and the narrative of the ALP “steadying” the relationship with the CCP? How’s that working out btw?
Just another member of Albo’s cabinet of cretins.
