0:02. I love that Alastor’s radio effect cuts off. It’s not controlled by his mic cause when he leaves the effect is back. He was just so shocked Adam destroyed his mic so easily he didn’t use it. Nice little detail there.
Alastor had a really good chance of going against Adam, but he wanted to play with him before getting serious. He wasn't expecting Adam to break his staff though, which did supply at least a bit of his power. That's why he appears so weak.
Wait why in the pilot was his tendrils actually solid like actual muscle but then when he fought Adam it was like ectoplasm? Did he get weaker or something?
Okay, but you guys, there is something way cooler happening here.
His: "What just happened?… Fuck!" Was exceptionally captured. Seemed very organic for someone in mild shock. HOWEVER, the contrast that we overlooked (which I have no idea how we overlooked it) is that he even dropped the transatlantic accent. This is significant because, this "old timey" accent WAS FAKE. It never existed. It was used soley to be understood better on old radio. IRL this is how alastor really talked. HIS PITCH even changes. In short, that line delivering was spectacular because, it shows he literally forgot himself. That hit him harder than breaking his radio demon mask. It broke alastors personal bearing for a second and left him VULNERABLE. With the historical fact that his actual speaking voice would be unaccented. Rad. In short, that line is the ONLY line where you hear alastor the mortal as he once was.
"What's the point of letting someone else kill your enemy if you want to have that glory?" -A Wise Man
Note: Vox was the real coward as he hid in his bunker, while Alastor stood in the open and fought… at least until Alastor was injured, but still that's better than hiding.
What i love about this scene, is that it shows alastor knows his limits, knows WHAT he is capable of. he knew he couldn't beat adam, so, rather than continuing to fight, and knowing he would totally die if he DID continue, he decided to end the battle. it makes him scarier, knowing HE chooses when he wants to end a fight.
How did you feel when when Adam said this? 0:25
I expected more from alistor that sad that he had to leave the fight
Alastor gets beat up
The world when watching: "Imposible!!""😱😱
Fffffffffvck
"Fffffff….ck" I laughed my rear end off!
Alastor was so surprised that his radio voice filter actually went away for a second
Im the only whos Adam is his favourite character ?
Adam winner
Imagine talking so much shit and then getting one shot 😭

Know your place, Alastor. You're not weak, but you're nowhere near the top of the pecking order, and it's high time you remembered that.

I love how his voice changes when the staff is gone
I love how you hear Al talk without Radio static the moment his thing is scliced in half. Nice touch.
