The elixir give you 1 point to spend in what ever category they aligned with. You have 10 levels max, which means you only earn 5 points in each category, so the elixir gives you the final 6th point to grab all skills if you wish.
If you save up for the 2k stamina fruit gives you an additional 45 stamina points max and instantly refills your bar to max.
Also any scarecrow you buy will unlock the crafting recipe for you to make more.
