For a minute, watching episode 8, I thought the voice whom Venestra talking to during sounded like Palpatine, then yoda is her superior…weird

Nowhere in the entire series was it even intimated that Qimir was Plagueis' apprentice. Plagueis senses Qimir but knows nothing about him or that he was Vernestra Rwoh's apprentice at an earlier stage. It is most likely that Qimir becomes a Knights of Ren member.
The reason behind the creation of the twins was that they were to be used as a sacrifice to keep the witch coven from dying out. At least, that was the impression Sol was under and why he and the other's went to "rescue" them.
Plagueis may have been known to Osha and Mae. He looked to be one of the hooded members (who's face was not visible) at the ceremony where Mae was "tattooed" on the head with that Yin/Yang symbol before being interrupted by the Jedi. This might also have been where Plagueis learned how to manipulate the midi chlorians in order to create life.
I want a season 2. I think there is much more story with these characters. Is Osha truly a Sith or will her love for her sister change her path yet again? Will Qimir get to fully train Osha before Vernestra Wroe catches up to him? I think this show sets their continued stores perfectly. Yes. I want an ACOLYTE season 2. Please and thank you.

I still liked the show and hope they make a season 2 to show us more of Darth Plagueis and who he chooses as an Apprentice before Palpatine. I knew Osha would become Darth Ferosha aka Ferocious cuz findin out your adopted Dad killed your real mother and lied about how he did when her real mother was goin to allow Osha to go with the Jedi to begin with was a grave mistake. But the bigger mistake is Venestra not explained how her own former Padawan has become a Dark Jedi If she wasn't aware he was full Sith and actin like she can find them on her own and only told master Yoda. But that tease for Yoda And Plagueis alone makes me want more even if their were flaws in the show. I think they chose to use the flashback episode as filler simply to show Carrie Anne Moss more because a ton of people were kinda pissed Indara died the first episode lol but man I think they still have story lines to make season 2 all about the Sith's side of the journey moving forward and The Stranger Apprentice and Osha the Acolyte's missions and things to help plant Palpatine in the senate eventually when he is born and Plagueis destroying either Darth Hilarious or Darth Ferosha to pick on3 main Apprentice until he kills that one or has Palpatine kill her to replace her as Plagueis new apprentice. Personally I believe this show needs a season 2 no matter what because of the karate and light saber battles were pretty EPIC!

I feel like this review put more thought into the show than the people behind it.
I am thinking a younger Palpatine will be introduced in a season two or sequel film. This should be a sequel movie like the Mandalorian and Grogu. If the costs are so high, it needs a ROI. Streaming is not it as there are so many productions made for the streaming service. It is a nice backup if a theatrical run sucks though.

This show was complete ass. This was show was all over the dam place. Let's pray there is no season 2 and everyone quickly forgets this show exists.
The main characters were underwritten, changed motivations at blinding speed. One scene May said said she was going to turn herself in, then the next scene fighting Jaki resisting arrest.There were no scenes May and Osha being close to each other, they always seemed to fighting each other, so the final scene of their reunion was unearned and lacked emotional impact. There are many many scenes that don't make sense at all. Why did the sniffer guy try to fight May, then next episode sabotage the ship preventing Sol from capturing her? Why were Qimir and Osha holding hands at the end when they had absolutely no chemistry? Why did the actress playing Osha-May have just one reaction for everything? In the end they pinned the murders on Sol, even though they have eye witnesses have May dead to rights. Sol was with other Jedi during the murders. I heard and agree this is a collection of wouldn't this be cool moments, and try to get there with poor writing. And being written into a corner with the extinct for a thousand years quote and doing mental gymnastics to get out of that corner. Horrible.
This series should have been a 90 minute movie.
Yea Idc what the rightwing twitter losers think, Acolyte was amazing. My third fave Star Wars show after Andor and Ahsoka. Started slow and for sure had its cringe moments like the witch chant, but when it got going it really got going and had some of the best choreography and characterisation in the franchise. I LOVE seeing the Jedi painted as the bad guys properly and the dark side as not entirely evil.

No! The force vision was just the vision of herself killing him. Never was seeing Mae. So it was straight forward. She just got it confused in thinking it was Mae and not herself.
Watch Acolyte 1&2, 7&3, 4&5, 6&8. Help buld resentment and root form main character. Hoping season 2 has more sith back story.

I read somewhere sometime ago (probably in a galaxy far away), that the Sith masters always start with two apprentices and then they must fight to the death and the master picks the winner. This means Qymir can't be Plagueis's apprentice without first finding someone to second him. Thus Qymir search for Osha/Mae. He needs an apprentice – to kill later, so he can be the chosen one!!!
