Our ignition issues have been one headache after another with this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda project but we may have finally scored a win! Out with the βMSD Ready To Runβ unit this ATK Crate motor came with, and in with a new ACES EFI Distributor!
Building hot rods is annoying, and expensive, and time consuming. But when you get down to the last little bits, with all the major components in place and ready, you really are just ready to hear your hard work pay off. When it does, itβs incredibly defeating. Fortunately for us, we could be finally finding a win!

Hey Rich, did you ever get that big block nova carburetor figured out? Never seen the final video on that.
Rich for the win! I expected nothing less. One of the smartest and coolest techs I have ever met!
I think the Aces Products will be more reliable than brand X. And better customer support.
I think I would go with a Holley system. Seems like you've had a lot of trouble just to get it to fire. Good luck!
Great to see you smile at the end of one of these videos. Perseverance is the key.
Congratulations on the start Rich. Glad to hear it running. Just some fine tuning
Can hear the cam. Thank you for sharing your success. π―ππ
Didnt you know that MOPAR is Latin for Difficult? Lol
I would rec.stock cam & magnetic dist. That's whid on my 302 & still had to lower my fuel%.
Everything is difficult on a Chrysler!

The Ace's fuel injection is just the MSD atomic rebranded and a different color…
