AccuWeather Ottumwa EF-4 Tornado Coverage (March 2023)

Compilation of hits and video from the AccuWeather Network during my coverage of the March 31, 2023 tornado outbreak in Iowa, namely the Ottuma-area EF-4 tornado, the strongest of the event.

Includes live hits 90 minutes prior to the tornado along with the genesis of the tornado captured live on air, initial damage images from the tornado, and postmortem hits with video.

Original tornado video was shot by myself, Tony Laubach, and chase partner, Ed Grubb. Network video being used for highlight reel.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a storm chase vlog, this is highlighting coverage of this tornado on the AccuWeather Network. A full storm chase vlog will be posted at a later date on my storm chasing YouTube channel.

  1. I also saw that Tanner Charles was just up ahead of you. And now for the 64 dollar question…why did you stop short of them?!? Why didn't you go and see if they needed any assistance?!? You're supposed to be a "professional"! And as a professional in this career field, you SHOULD be trained in First Aid and CPR, because you know someone is going to need it after a tornado blows through!! If you're not trained, then you need to explain why!
I hope that you are more than just a chaser. I hope you're also a helper of human beings too!!
