If you want to set off a bottle launch with stuff you already have in your house…you need 1 empty bottle (Coke bottle works and any volume size). You need a cork, paper towel, baking soda, and fast hands. You can also create a stand out of popsicle sticks or Lego. Lastly, you need vinegar. Poor the vinegar into the bottle (may want to use a funnel), poor baking soda like a row (will look like…well…trying keep this G rated but a certain white substance that addicts use to feel different), roll the paper towel up and make sure each end is folded too. Stick the paper towel into the bottle…this is where you need to be quick. Quickly place the cork over the opening (should just fit and you don’t need it very deep). Flip the bottle upside down and place it on the stand (I place it over a sewer so the mess goes down there and don’t need a stand). Stand back and the bottle should blast higher than trees or houses.
I wonder if coke and mentos helps with the rocket!!
