7. Curse of the Stars has been on my radar for a while. For 40 dollars this seems like a solid game with good length and a ton of enemy variety. Can't wait to play it!

12. So glad you are doing this. Back in 2020 I swapped from primarily photorealistic open world titles (which are unnecessary, because earth exists and open-world games are trash chore filled time consumers with little to no content these days) and now I only play indie games with good/amazing art design, great combat, world building, voice acting etc.. You show next to no love for pixel arts which are my favorite now, which is beyond unfortunate. But you also show mostly trash looking indies titles that would make me question if you are getting sponsored for them, but I doubt that is the case.

15. I really want Asterigos to be great but some of it's problems I really hope are fixed in a day one patch. Going from review code there is no animation cancelling, which for a Soulslike is really bad and can make things super clunky.

24. Loved the aesthetic of Paper Cut Mansion but I did not like how the controls felt in the demo. It just didn't feel like it handled well. I really wanted to like it.

27. I really enjoy seeing indie games be highlighted. They often get buried by big AAA games and yet they are the most fun I have with gaming right now.

28. Is it me or are there a million and one games with cartoony art styles nowadays? Not that I’m dissing them, it just seems like many more games that come out now go for a stylized, cartoony look. When I was a kid (10-12) I was into Silent Hill, Metal Gear, Half Life etc. Cartoony art style games like Sly Cooper and Psychonauts were great but they were the exception rather than the rule. These days it seems like the opposite it true.

32. Nivalis already wishlisted. LOVED their previous title, "Cloudpunk" set in the same city. That was (and is) one of my most enjoyable videogame experiences in years (and totally unexpected).
    Probably/possibly helps you understand the city of Nivalis if you play that before this launches.

34. AAA games may be stagnating save for a few key devs, but I love the fact that Indies are thriving. All of these are now on my watchlist.

41. Iron Pineapple also showed off Asterigos not too long ago, so seeing you both cover it? Hells yeah. EDIT: Potionomics?! holy crap, someone other than me that has talked about it! Awesome. Been watching that game for… feels like it's been 3 years? Since before Covid, I'm pretty sure.

    Even though im not a fan of cartoonish looking games.
    What i didn't hear you talk about though, is there any combat in the game?
    It sounded more like a world building rpg with friends and enemies but no combat?
