  1. Chapter 11 may not require a change in operations or firing people and could simply be debt restructuring to reduce monthly p]ayments needed to be made for debt servicing (creditors get shares in company in exchange for reduceing the loan balance). Another major aspect is that the bankruptcy judge has powers to void contracts where justified (but not all the time). This allows renegotiation of rates , leases etc. Or in some cases, termination of services no longer required. But entering Chapter 11 requires the company truly be near actual bankruptcy at a point where it will break loan covenants and creitors can start seizing assets placed as collateral or , in case of airlines, an airport can start to seize aircraft for unpaid airport bills. (or fuel companies no longer supplying fuel). Chapter 11 provides the protections to allow company to continue to operate normally.

  2. Singapore airport underestimates privacy issue if it thinks passengers will accept biometric identification and their pictures and all personal details shared between various bodies that operate within airport (and likely google or other information broker used by duty-free shops). Showing your passport as ID is pne thing, but having compuyer records of your biometrics passed areround and kept permanently by airport is far more invasive.

  3. I got way too excited to hear my little city's name make your video. I'm really excited to see Victoria-Las Vegas come to life, no doubt a response to Flair's new YYJ-LAS route and really makes me want to hit up Vegas! Our little airport is coming to life ๐Ÿ˜Š
