Krishna’s mercy is unparalleled, unimaginable, inconceivable and beyond human logic!

From His childhood, Lord Krishna killed so many demons like Putana, Sakatasura, Trinavarta, Bakasura, Vatsasura, Kesi, Aghasura, Arishtasura, Vyomasura, and so on. They all were cruel, envious and powerful tyrants. They attacked Vrindavan repeatedly to eliminate Krishna and His associates, and to plunder and exploit the world. By their supernatural powers they changed their forms to innocent animals to deceive everyone.

Seeing through this cruel deception, Krishna defeated and killed these demons, and thus by His great mercy, He liberated them all from their demoniac lives. Some of the demons were originally devatas or brahmanas who had been cursed to become demons due to certain offenses. And some were condemned due to their own demoniac nature for several lifetimes. By killing them, Krishna reinstated some of them in their previous good positions, and even awarded spiritual realm to some of them.
Even punishment of God is His merciful blessing. After all, He is the supreme well-wisher of everyone, including the demons.
