A Very Merry Postmillennial Christmas

The birth of Jesus and the death of Jesus can never be truly separated. The incarnation was God setting the stage for the crucifixion. The manger exists as the prelude to the cross. And the cross exists as the path to the throne. Jesus was born so that at the proper time he could die. And Jesus died so that he might reign.

  1. We sang "Joy to World" and my uncle who is a Preacher and a premill refused to sing the last verse where it states "He rules the world". He said it was "Amill garbage" (For some reason many premills seem to be ignorant of the postmill position totally). This really amazed and saddened me! Only those of Postmill persuasion can claim that verse! They can't claim that Christ is King. He Rules the World with Truth and Grace.

  2. Also, I was wondering if you ever do reaction videos to other talks or podcasts? There is a podcast I sometimes watch and they recently hosted a in person panel type discussion between a person who follows Eastern Orthodox faith, another who follows the Roman Catholic faith, and another who was protestant. The protestant was Dr. Easley who I think they said used to be president of Moody Bible College. I thought it was an interesting discussion to listen to since I didn’t know much about the Eastern Orthodox faith, and it seemed like most people wanted to hear from the RC or EO speakers, but I do wish that the one representing the Protestant faith had gotten some additional speaking time.

  3. This might explain why some people still think that Trump is in charge behind the scenes.
If Trump’s in charge, he’s failing miserably.
If Christ reigns on earth today, why aren’t kings bowing down?
Satan is the god of this world.
When Christ reigns, it won’t be ANYTHING like this Apostasy!
But thank you for this – it clears up the confusion I had about post mellineialism.

  4. Very sorry I have to comment again here because I didn't realize at the time I had already commented and a response to someone else's comment. Anyway, Pastor Joel I truly value you and your preaching and would like to ask if you would please address the pagan roots of Easter and Christmas and other supposed holidays that were imposed on the church and explain from the scriptures why the modern Church celebrates these pagan holidays and practices. Thank you! 🙏
