But what solutions do punk and alternative counter-cultural movements offer? Many times, people within those groups find themselves in a dark, empty world of nihilism. Orthodoxy offers people a true counter-cultural rebellion against a fake, empty world yet also offers a transcendent, spiritual and mystical solution.
