  1. I'm a bit sad that the two of them keep missing the movie poster in Marble, especially in the epilogue. It was one of my favorite reoccurring bits of the game, and the cherry on top was the one here. Though, they likely wouldn't have had as big of a reaction to it as me and my fellow Uchikoshi veterans. At least they saw the origin of Bibi's mask!

  2. 49:07 Omg,this again?! XD

    1:13:29 Yup,knew it
    So…
"Invincible rainbow arrow" or "half to whole"? Which one do you prefer? My vote goes for the latter honestly. The 1st is iconic but the 2nd has better lyrics
Kinda wished to know about Gen's animosity with Ota… Is it really as simple as "competition"?
Also we're still left with the biggest mystery of all… What the hell's that inspector name???

  3. This finale song was amazing!!
It’s crazy to think that I’ve been watching you play this game for 51 days, it doesn’t seem like that much. Thank you for the experience!!

  4. I noticed during "Half to whole" that Hitomi's arm doesn't move while during "Invincible rainbow arrow" it seems healed as she can move it normally. An oversight? How it was supposed to be from the get-go? Hard to say honestly

  5. As fun as it was to watch and I'm not gonna complain about it and the fact yes crimes were committed, still feels sad that like some sort of exception was made so Amame could be at the finale Dance

  6. Because it was a topic, I'm gonna pitch in with the little bit of knowledge I have on the EU/UK law for something like Mame.

If a good lawyer got a hold of her case to help her defend theres a few major key points that would reduce the sentence.
Things like a family member being killed in front of you, being blackmailed by the killers or being held at gunpoint during the reveal of a family members murder by the culprit.
Even things like the fact she killed Uru coming down to a 'threat on her life'. It could be argued she felt she was next when she saw the cutting machines and responded as such and with how we know the doors seal when the room changes over, it could easily be claimed she was trapped with him and felt her life was threatened.

A number of self defence claims against abuse tend to fail when the victim who killed or maimed the abuser might drive to their house to grab a gun or some weapon and drive back. If you have a means of escape, especially if you use it; you cannot argue self defence, especially when the person is unconscious. But with the understanding she might have been locked in that room should he wake up, her life didn't stop being under threat.

While I don't really consider her a hero since her actions didn't prevent any actual consequences across any of the timelines, in a place with law focused around the situation, she should at most be put into a mental facility for therapy and rehabilitation due to her experiences and PTSD.

It would be reasonable to argue self defence when being blackmailed by the people who killed her dad and being trapped in a room with them.
It would also come down to mental health about the motive of killing, even if it was somehow shown to be calculated or otherwise, if they somehow showed her knowledge of the machine beforehand and premeditation. There would be the aspect of empathy and grief from the trauma.

All in all, I'd expect a year or two for her to be in counselling and maybe 24/7 supervision against the whole depression/cancel life subscription similar to the quarantine everyone else got put in but it wouldn't be deemed a homicide in the normal use of the term, it would be justifiable homicide. It is also worth noting 'heat of the moment' in some countries is counted as a defence in this instance if I recall that one correctly.

Speaking of self defence though, trained practitioners of martial arts actually get pinned a lot easier for homicide in self defence, because they are expected to understand the force they are applying even in the moment. They are deemed to understand their strength and to be able to eliminate a threat with minimal harm to both sides.

Morality itself is an interesting topic altogether though and its why I love studying culture. Its very hard to get just one right answer when so many places have their own correct answer.

  7. The fake-out Ryuki death being a cheap and hollow rip from the Aiba fake-out death from the original with nothing that made that one work really just sums up this game really well. All this after how much he was sidelined too.

Eh. There are some things about this game I can dig, but everything else I either hate or comes with a caveat. Zero Time Dilemma tier, maybe worse

  8. Honestly, I'm really sad that Hitomi's arm doesn't work. Based on what they said about it, there IS tech in this game world to fix it and I was hoping they did in the first game ;-(
Of course, the other way they could have done it is to just have Kizuna dancing herself and pretend it doesn't matter.

  9. The Mame stuff would work better if actual mob hitman Date who murdered dozens of people didn't get off completely scott free. It's real weird that all these people who didn't have a problem covering up Date's crimes are all like well Mame did murder someone so she does have to face the consequences.

  10. Interesting fact: if you take the three names for the abstract painting at Lemniscate and stack them on top of each other, and then read from top to bottom, left to right, you get the message THANK-YOU-EVERYONE

  11. As a spanish-speaking viewer, Kagami saying "Glad to meet you. My name is Kagami. I like big titties" in 35:09 fucking killed me. This epilogue overall is hilarious, and I'm not even halfway in!

  13. All of the So children turn out to be a serial killer in both game. Cant wait what the third game would give us for the killer. Hopefully its a female this time, to mix thing up. And at the final series, So himself will be the serial killer, after awaken the killer blood that dormant in his body LOL.

  14. "Rebound"… you gonna need to show some respect to my wife Hitomi, if anything Ryuki is the sidepiece while those two figure things out, sorry Ryuki. In all seriousness, I guess we can say Datomi's canon? Ryuki also remark that they have a deep relationship after all, I don't think it can be read in any other way besides him knowing his crush is one-sided. If there's a 3rd game Ryuki should get a nice bf because oof my guy deserves it.
I prefer one-sided Date x Ryuki cuz it's much funnier and personally that 19 years age gap between them ain't cute to me
