  6. I live in a north west suburb area outside of Denver and we have about 4 inches of snow with more falling rapidly and it's at 15 degrees. Thank you for your weather updates that are much more accurate than the news channel reports.

  14. I address the creator of this channel as, "Mr. Pow!"
    In the event that Bossman POW speaks, we (in western NY), listen.
    We're in the northeast, bordering Lake Erie, and that darn lake hasn't frozen over this winter.

    What does this mean?

    Good question;

    This results in lake effect snow when air chills down.

    Remember, we (western NY) received 80" (yes, EIGHTY inches, or 200cm). This was over the Christmas weekend.
    Schools, businesses , streets were all closed for a week. That's all it takes to achieve 'Lake Effect.'

    – The air above is so cold + the warm water = heavy snow.

  28. Since the most popular meteorological school is in Oklahoma I guess gulf coast and east coast weather is required reporting for all forecasters. We (the NW) could have tornadoes and flaming hail and weather people might, might, mention it, but a breezy day in Texas and watch out, the whole forecast will be on it. Even during all the CA flooding, 23 min forecast spent 8 mins on the west, the rest right back to TX. Should rename to POW-TX.

  30. Roy I really am over the snow. I'm ready to garden 🌻. It's been a terrible winter for us who enjoy the beauty of it. But I am a March baby and it isn't over till it's over. Your the best!! Have a great day. It's like in the low 50's here today

  33. I'm in Quebec City, that thing is currently burying us. Very strong wind creating snow drift several feet high. My basement window are completely covered up in snow right now because of the drifting snow. Yesterday is was sunny and spring like with temp in the 40's.
