Lovely setup Ed. Thanks for sharing.
Great setup you have Ed. Enjoy the music Man
Thanks for your video. Very nice set of audio gear. Have a great time. Greetings
Very nice. I always like to see what audio gear enthusiasts have and use. Nice big room with what looks like custom in-wall shelving units. Well done. New viewer here. You convinced me to but the Douk Q11. 🙂
Hi Ed, how much does the A7 cost? I couldn't find any cost info. Nice setup. What do you recommend for source switching (two or three input), I've been researching mechanical switches & need something that doesn't 'clunk' thru the speakers when switching? Are there any electronic switches that mute during switching? That ideally operate from a 5V USB supply. Thanks in advance!
Cool video! I’m still waiting on my smsl ddc…I noticed you use a different one at the desk. Do you prefer that one to the smsl? Im not a headphone user so not sure if that matters. Thanks Ed!
I’ll bet the Bifrost sounds like a million dollars with that gear.
Neil laghed at me at AXPONA when I kept looking for the sub woofer in the room. they really are an amazing speaker that defies conventional wisdom.
Sort of amazed that you don’t have any interest in planar or open baffle speakers
Awesome rig. Thank you for sharing it with us
Do you sometimes feel you have too much choice and find it hard to decide which amp to use with what speakers etc?
Nice Ed. Speakers pulled out nicely, a little bit of treatment. Nice job. Hey, I recently picked up a SMSL PO100 and use it between a iFi Zen Stream and Pontus II (I2S) and amazed at what this thing did! Holy crap. I mean very noticeable improvement. I see you have a similar Douk DDC unit that i was not aware of. Are you planning to get a PO100 and going to compare them? (BTW, this thing noticeably burned in over a couple days of playing time, just an fyi not to make a snap judgement out of the box).
Lots of cool stuff.
Love the look at your studio and the updates, I wait with baited breath for both new reviews and more information on gear you used to own / sell (my favorite).
Thx for your Ed. Didnt know you had upgraded the op amps on the dayzee. In your review I don’t think you had yet but I could be mistaken.
there is something about tubes fight me never tell me that my 1958 Stugartt tubes do not make a holographic sound … love to see the tubes 🙂 nice setup
Very Nice Ed. 😎👍🏽 In my corner home office, I use a toilet paper stand as a headphone rack! 🎧😂
Excited to hear about the SPL amp!
For some unknown reason, I appreciate the fact that in your studio you do not have large JBL, Klipsch or whatnot vintage speakers. I am sure your system effortlessly creates a holographic soundstage that is hard to beat…
The bit Frost equalizer is very intriguing. Would love to know more about your perspective on this one and how you can fit it into your Home theater system. I don't know – so many different things to see there a bit overwhelming.
I love the TV stand. I got one and it's terribly inexpensive and in certain rooms it's a lot better than sticking the damn thing on the wall.
It will not surprise you that, as a German, I am looking forward to the review of the SPL stack. However, my current amplifier setup is an American one: the NuPrime EVO STA and EVO DAC 2. NuPrime offers excellent value for money, and I am surprised that American YouTubers don't discuss these gems more often.
That's a fun room, Ed! Thanks for sharing.
Hi , where are class AB amps 😢
Thanks for the behind the scenes look at your setup. Great to see where the magic happens. Always helps to show my wife that there are other guys with more equipment than me.
I wish I had a dedicated space like yours! For now I have a desktop system.
Cheers Ed!
In your recent video with Randy, you mentioned how your listening room electrical circuits were wired to be hifi friendly. I will be running 2 dedicated 20 amp lines for my new setup. Would love to see a video on how you went about it. Thanks
