Most of you are lovely BUT

I'm going to address a few frustrating comments in reference to why we're redoing Hammer and Bolter and what new content we're working on in the background.

    1) My old Hammer and Bolter Episodes are basically reactions with rants in between. The new stuff is more focused, more transformative, less likely to piss off Games Workshop, and significantly improves the quality. You don't like em, cool.

    2) GW has not released new content in 90 days. They just announced a new Knights Series. I will break that down a week after it comes out.

    3) I have completed the script for a Lore video that combines a dozen Science Fiction Properties into a coherent timeline set in the 40k Universe. I will release that when I have time to properly edit it AND then I will use that as framing device to break down other Sci-Fi both respecting its own lore, and 40k Lore. I'm excited for that project but its a lot of work.

    4) I released to little fan fare an independent animation of a 40k Sentinel Mowing down Ewoks with a Lascannon based on a Gray Skull comic. I loved it, but it was a lot of money and energy for little result. We're already working on a new short animation but they're expensive and time consuming.

    5) In the background I have been protoyping a real life 12 gauge/.72 caliber bolter, a 5.56 Bolt Pistol, a Tempestus Scion Helmet based on the Devtac Ronin, and a Chainsword. There's a lot of work that goes into testing this stuff so I resent the complaints. Take it up with GW, I'm working my butt off while working a full time job and raising a family.

I'm working on content, it just takes time and energy to build something from scratch rather than just doing haphazard reacts.

Parasocial love to you and yours. I appreciate your patience. Catch you in the next one.

  2. Even if we don't have the same opinions, I like even admire what you do. I would like to point out a minor aspect that you didn't address but which is interesting. Having spent my childhood in Rome, I know the importance of rituals in religions. One of the passages (notably in the previous video) shows that Aghata, even in the face of imminent death, continues the ritual. This causes a reaction in Helena. I add that losing sight is also a ritual present in many religions. Giving your eyes (usually symbolic) allows you to achieve the true vision of faith. This video explains the importance of ritual in the believer’s faith.

  3. Anyone complaining about the power armor not holding up to a cultist's blade have obviously not heard that one of the Gift's of Khorne is supernatural strength. I could be wrong, but a Warp enhanced cultist could probably cut into and through a Sister's of Battle's armor.

  4. Why are the Sisters considered the "Brides of the Emperor" ? Is it a tenet of the Imperial Truth that the Emperor want a harem ? As far as i know, the priests that serves in the Cult of the Emperor aren't called the "Grooms of the Emperor".
13:26 Isn't that a cowardly move in the eyes of Khorne ?
20:27 Why do you keep saying that she is posessed by a fraction of the emperor power instead of being posessed by the saint Josephine ?

  5. I pay a yearly subscription to watch this.

I spend hundreds on plastic and paint.

Ive seen what a fan can make thru the glory of Astartes.

They have the time. They have the budget. What needs to be called out is the shit management that makes the decisions that lead to this piss poor animation style.

Just look at their recently released video where a plague beasts are fighting Knight Armigers. It’s so bad it’s laughable.

This company is absolutely capable of creating good animation but for reasons beyond comprehension, refuse to do so.

Truly, no blasphemy of intelligence touches them.

  6. I’m surprised how many people misinterpret and misunderstand the emperors prohibition on religion and faith! it was not at all due to The emperors supposed aversion towards faith based on the presupposition that science and reason can answer all the questions within the universe. In fact the emperor knew that faith was humanity‘s greatest asset in untapped power, hence why was set on humanity avoiding using a weapon properly until they were ready or the Emperor had finished his web-way project. As the emperor was a man of great faith and possessed a clear understanding of it’s power especially as it relates to the human soul. A larger understanding of the lore will confirm Such a presupposition. As with many things and Warhammer you must perceive beyond the superficial layer of what we read or and why they tell the masses what they do. Arm for such a precept it makes perfect sense why the emperor was trying to prevent people from unknowingly worshiping chaos and thus manifesting or invoking demonic entities. His imperial creed to White wash and remove the temptation of religion and face was to prevent any vectors chaos could potentially use to infiltrate Or undermine the administrative centralization of power undertaken by the emperor. In sum The emperors banishment of religion had nothing to do with a supposed emperors distain for faith, in fact he felt the opposite, it was only a preventive measure to prevent humanity from feeding the warp and chaos unwittingly.

  7. On the blade piercing the sister's armor, remember these are cultists of Khorne, the Chaos God of blood and destruction. It's likely that as the head cultist, he might've received a minor blessing from the blood god that empowered both his strength and weapon, allowing him to pierce the Ceramite armor.

  8. Elena was robbed of her sight, but not before witnessing a miracle. Seeing this miracle is a greater gift than reading all the books in the Imperium, and is the absolute solidification of her faith. Over a year later, this is still my favorite episode.

  9. So I’ve been watching your breakdowns for a while and have been binging a metric F ton of lore videos. Based on what I’ve seen on your channel specifically I tried to get a warhammer+ subscription. But unfortunately I’m in Canada. Apparently it’s our laws that make it so I can’t give GW my money….

But I can get everything else including other IP protective company’s stuff. They just partner with a service that deals with the content requirements.

I absolutely respect the intent of protecting an IP but if everyone else can work it out why can’t GW?

Yeah Canada is small but partnering with a global company I think they could easily double their subscriptions. They seem to be gnawing off their own hand (profits) and refusing to join the rest of the planet.

That said. Thanks for doing your videos, the breakdowns are great and definitely part of the enjoyment and I know that you are not GW.

    Keep it up.

  10. Some people who don’t know too much about 40k going on about wanting‘Female space marines’. Not knowing that the defenders of the faith and the Heroines of the Emperor are given more strength through his name than some of his Angels. They’re absolutely amazing Nuns.

Their litanies are beautiful. Love them

And that Swordsmanship is enough to even make the Templars proud.
