  1. Cam, did i hear you correctly that blood bags get contaminated in toxic gas? I've always carried 1 to 2 full ready to go blood bags with the IV start kit already combined just in case I get exposed to pox.

  4. Good job on the video Cam … one of my biggest frustrations is getting sick in game it’s why I am like a medic I’m always getting cut when I started so I carried lots of bandages to prevent infection then more meds and then I learned about vitamins and keeping my stats high to prevent getting sick

  5. The fact that taking two tetra helps with pneumonia.

    Makes me think.
What happens if you Just take the 12.

Or a handfull of codeine pills.

    Overdose of anything.
    What happens in DayZ?

  6. I eat rotten fruits, mushrooms, or veggies regularly in dayz, no problem. However I think the issue there is if you're only eating rotten stuff, too many in a row and no fresh food in between. Eating three in a row is probably bound to get you sick. Two in a row might be safe but I'd have to double check on that. Generally you'll find more fresh/dried food items in the wilds than rotten, so like I said it's not a problem for me. To be ultra-safe about it, limit yourself to one piece of rotten food between fresh food items. That's how I instinctively play it now, and I can assure you I never ever get poisoning from it. At a certain point on a playthrough, my food will be up so high that all I have to do is eat a raw/dried/rotten shrooms or fruits from time to time to keep my food level topped off and water as well to a degree. At that point I don't have to go hunting, I don't have to go fishing, or looting for canned stuff.

Now with cholera… one time on a map I was unfamiliar with, where I ended up all I had was dirty water sources and no way to purify the water but I had a nice stack of tetra, so I drank the dirty water, caught the cholera, cured it with tetra, and I repeated that process for a good long while until I found the proper resources. Once my water, albeit dirty, was way up and health ticked up, I was hardly hurting provided that I had enough tetra to re-cure myself. Not a bad little trick to keep in mind.
