Watching you struggle with these strange shadows when you're filming, I am wondering if the light you have above you has any type of cover over the actual light bulbs, i.e., a grid pattern of plastic or metal etc. Maybe the intensity of the florescent lights (I think that's what you said the type of light is) is being broken up a bit and then the camera is having trouble focusing because of it. Or, if they're florescent long tubes, and you do not have any cover over it.. maybe it needs some type of filter over them. Just a thought anyway. Good luck with it! TFS!
