A Nearly INDESTRUCTIBLE Timber – E-flite Twin Timber 1.6m

This Timber is nearly indestructible. In a world of RC planes with weak gear, the Twin Timber stands out as a tank of an aircraft that can take strong impacts. We’d be surprised if anyone manages to destroy the gear unintentionally. With its massive 1.6m wingspan, it floats around happily on 3200 packs and even 2200 packs, with a ton of acro potential for those of you who enjoy wringing out your model. Like what you see? Preorder it quick before the first batch sells out!

  1. I will say, I really think this one is the best looking one yet, I just wish they didn’t pick the same old boring colors and pattern and maybe tried like a fictional military scheme

  2. Bro, I really don’t care about that plane but your reviews are so interesting that I watched it…🤣 well done once again !
Honestly, you’re clearly the best « horizon hobby influencer » of the YouTube game 😇

  3. Great review Jon. Yay for the beefier gear springs, but I see the wheels are severely toed-in especially the right side. I assume the gear struts are the same soft aluminum as the TT Evo and at least in my experience the bottom ends of the struts can bend during hard landings in rough ground, causing that toe-in. Beef up one part of the gear and the next weakest link shows up! 😜

  4. Great video again Jon.

I think it kind of looks awkward as a taildragger, maybe its the nose. I wish it was offered with a tricycle option. It looks much better on the floats in my opinion. I love my timbers but I'm not quite as excited about this as I was the UMX Evolution.

I would have loved to see some sort of clip system on the slats. Maybe next time….

Are the new springs compatible with the Evolution?

  5. Strange Jon…I commented during your premiere in the chat, but I don't see it?? Anyway man…great job with the Twimber! This was definitely a fun one. So many options and unique capabilities. I'll have to try the harrier mix!

  6. Thank you for another great video, sir.
While I don’t see the “Twinber” ever having a spot in my hangar, I still wanted to watch your review. I usually pick up something from your uploads that benefits my enjoyment of the hobby.
I do have a question for you. What do you use to get airspeed on your IX20? I recently switched to an IX14 and would love to have the ability to track airspeed without using my SkyRC unit. Is it as simple as just adding the Spektrum SPMA95871 GPS module to telemetry capable receiver? Thank you for your time and response. -Guy

  7. Great review! I like how you take the planes through more then just basic flight. The advanced setups you do at the end are great. Theyre also short and sweet. Really makes it easy to know if i would really want a plane or not. I agree with the score (maybe a 9 cause of the porpusing when landing) for what this plane was originally designed to do, it appears to be built very well to do it. Im going to pass on this one though cause the big ass eflite cub ss with the motor and prop upgrade you recomended and omp bighorn 4s fill my high wing prop needs😄. Keep pushing those limits
