He loves his garden and his sleep lol!..you should use sandolin on the bench or yacht varnish.I like the shine and strength of the yacht varnish for outdoor furniture myself .The rain just runs off it.If it protects boats it will last a long time on a bench.Great idea putting a table in the shed.But make life easier and put your camera on a stand.Most jobs are easier with two hands..The sea looked amazing.I so miss being near water.I don’t have transport now so can’t travel far ,but rarely go out because I am now in so much pain.Usually once a year for a blood test..So I enjoy your walks and at Trago to..So Pretty there.Was not like that originally ..Huge gravel car park with a couple of like factory buildings on it signs every where saying drive carefully Blind Child..The owners I think it was a Son was blind.Its really grown over the years.The statues are his being upset with the Council and all the rules and regulations ..But it’s a great place and we always visited when we went to see Mum and Day when they moved to Torpoint…Not been since before my husband died…Love to you both 🥰

Jami, I think boat teak oil would probably last longer on your bench, they use it on boats, you can get it with stain or clear! Polyurethane isn’t like it used to be!

You need a couple of saw horses. They have two pair, and I don't know what I would do without them. I have an old pair of wooden ones, and I found some ready-made ones on sale so I have them too. You also need a good sander for using on the seat of the bench.
