A Galaxy in Turmoil! – As Told in Legends: Imperial Warlords, Thrawn Campaign & Palpatine's Return

“None of you needs to be reminded that in the past few weeks our war against the remnants of the Empire has changed from what was once called a mopping-up exercise to a battle for our very survival.”

  1. Even though I do like the Legends version of post episode 6 continuity much better than current Canon it does gets a little ridiculous and the galactic civil war goes on a little bit too long and I really did enjoy how it ended as I think the empire should be completely disbanded and ended as a galactic organization the new Republic taken full control of the Galaxy.

  2. PLEAAAASE do an installment about the Dark Empire story, since I’ve tried and tried to find solo videos about the Dark Empire technology, as it’s very very distinct, but nobody seems to have much besides a few scraps here and there

  3. A couple of edits.
Zsinj's flagship was never stolen by the New Republic. He was recovering the wreckage of the Razors Kiss to use as a 'fake' Iron Fist he could blow up to look like wreckage of his own flagship, which he would hide at Dathomir to be repaired. This plan actually worked perfectly at the Battle of Selegis as Han and his taskforce fully believed they'd destroyed Zsinj's flagship and returned to Coruscant, while Zsinj got the breathing room he wanted to begin rebuilding.

During the Battle of Dathomir, the Iron Fist(Zsinj's Super Star Destroyer flagship) was still in the repair yard from the sabotage and heavy damage it had suffered at the Battles of Vahaba and Selegis. Prince Isolder's 'Song of War' Battledragon strafed it while it was in dock before the main battle as well. So by the time of the Battle of Dathomir against the Hapan Royal Navy and New Republic, the Iron Fist couldn't escape and was in a badly weakened state.

  4. And with the Imperial Civil War we once again see why the Empire wasn't going to last, like the Sith Empires of old, even after attaning victory they start infighting and turning on each other not thinking that doing so will allow their enemies to win.
Also, is this series over? Because that closing segment with you thank us for following this journey through Legends implies it is, but I though this series was going to cover the entire Galactic Civil War which didn't offical end in Legends until 19 ABY, this video only ended at 10 ABY with Palpatine's return, there's still more stories to tell I assume.

  5. This is where the fun begins. Now this is pod-racing! Thank you for this video! These were some of the best stories post endor that have ever been published. (The Thrawn Trilogy is my absolute favorite!)

  6. Zjinj is often underrated. Maybe due to his stature, but zjinj was actually a fairly competent officer (no thrawn (and he didn't earn respect the way thrawn did), but he was more clever than the average imperial commander).

  7. I love the bacta war. Think it would make a good rpg campaign also, it already seems to be like something run by a dungeon master and a party having a good time: player playing booster: I threaten the super star destroyer with destruction, using torpedo targeting packages to back my bluff.

  8. Always loved that one of the inadvertently key espionage operations performed by Wraith Squadron was convincing Zsinj that they had a hyper intelligent Ewok fighter pilot (portrayed by Wedge Antilles puppeting an Ewok dummy in a TIE).😅

And as an added bonus, Zsinj was actually working on a clandestine project to make unusually intelligent members of otherwise dumb races like Gammoreans, and he'd have his chief scientist killed for the "escaped Ewok."😅

  9. Good Lord…..Pleaassssse..
Finally, look up how to pronounce the Star Wars names correctly.
It's really cruel to hear you pronounce C'baoth or Noogri, among others.

Otherwise you have been doing excellent work for years.

    Nevermind

    Live long and…….ehhhh
